Taylor pov

I knew i shouldn’t had mention the scars on my back. But it was his fault he was the one that did it. I hung the phone up before he had a chance to say a word. i shut the phone off because knowing him he would call back and threaten me, i was so sick of being scared, So i said screw it, I packed my things shoved them in the car, how the hell would he even know i left unless he would get someone to watch me, it's not so late, but i also found a house i could rent out. it was like four minutes from my job, i didn't even have much. i shoved my clothes, and personal items in three bags, shoved them in the car than sped off, i knew in fact he would do this. i had a feeling if i tried to run he would drag me back. I turned my phone back on. I told Chirs what i was like doing. than lhan left a note to give to Callahan when his guards came., i'm not stupid, i knew what he would do.

“It's only until the royal ball is over. I'm tired of looking over my shoulder Chris, I won't be there for a few weeks, but I will give you the address once i am settled,” i hung the phone up. Then I drove to my boss's house. i parked the car got out to knock on his front door, i heard footsteps, i looked at the time i knew it was late but i needed to feel safe at the moment, when he answered the door he was only wearing his boxers, he was rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand, when he saw it was me. he couldn’t help but smile,

“Taylor. What are you doing here honey? it's late, are you okay?” I softly sighed when i asked him if i could come inside,. he moved out of the way so i could walk into the door, i sat on the couch in the living room. he sat in his recliner after he went into his room to put on a pair of sweatpants,

“So, What's going on? Why are you here so late?”

“I called the leopard king then he called me back. I asked why he really wanted me there, he said that he wanted me back in the kingdom. i mentioned that I would rather not have any more scars on my back. i knew i hurt him but he also had hurt me, he didn’t want to listen to what i had to say, he wouldn't let me explain, After i mentioned about my back I hung up. I know he was going to have people following my now. so i needed to get out of that hotel. I needed to feel safe, something i haven't felt in a long time. I could sleep on the couch until tomorrow. i'm going to rent that house that's four minutes from work.” He chuckled when he heard about the house i wanted to rent out, i wondered why he did that,

“Taylor, I own that house, I had rented it out for years. and if you want to rent it, then you're more than welcome., it will be five hundred a month. That includes lights, trash and water. so it is a deal. I have a contract. I can pull up that way so you can sign it and I will give you the key,. its furnished, but you will need to get a bed,” i had to think about it for a few minutes, its five hundred a month light, trash, and water was included, that means he will be paying for lights and water and the trash, i would be paying him to pay it, i could do that,

“Alright. it's a deal, where's the contract?”

“Can it wait until the morning, i'm exhausted and the way you look you could use some sleep,” I must had looked rough, i was tried and all i wanted was to sleep right now. Bobby gave me a blanket with a pillow, he kidded about sleeping with him. but i knew he wasn't kidding, if we slept in the same bed right now, things could go to far we might not regret it than, but later on we would. I told him the couch was fine, even though he should had put on a shirt because it took all i had not to stare at him. he knew i was trying to avoid looking at him,. it wasn't easy at all, he kissed my forehead, than walked away from me, i think it was hard for him as well, i could smell him. I laid down on the couch, it wasn't the most comfortable thing. but it was soft and a place to lay on without being outside, for the first time in two years, i felt safe, i didnt have any nightmares that night. i didn't toss and turn fearing that someone was going to knock down my door to hurt me, for once i slept peacefully no nightmares of being tied to the whipping post. the next morning I awoke with a smell of coffee brewing and the smell of eggs being cooked,

“Good morning sunshine, I called into work letting them know we wont be coming into work today, i will be showing you the house i have for rent. come on and get up so you can have something to eat and drink some coffee to wake up.” i couldn't help but smile, he was chipper in the morning, too bad i wasn't. But it was still good that someone was there this morning, i got up, went to the bathroom to do my business, washed my hands, then walked back out to have some good smelling coffee with eggs. After breakfast was done and the coffee was drinked, we were ready to head out, I already knew where the house was so I drove behind him. Since my things were still in the car, I could take them out and put them in the house after he handed me the key. it only took ten minutes to get to the house that I was renting, the house outside looked really nice. a front porch swing, i could put some hanging plants on the porch, the trim was a light blue i liked it, we got out of our cars. I walked onto the porch waiting for him to unlock the door, When he finally did. We walked inside. i noticed right away that it was stuffy in the house,

“I don’t use the air conditioner in here unless someone is renting it out, so its going to be a little warm inside the house, let me show you how to cut it on,” He walked me over to a wall where i box was screwed into. he showed me how to move the level to turn it on. and the tempture that i wanted, that he showed me the kitchen, then the living room. the back porch was nice as well, it had a couple of chairs and a table between them, i would love to sit out here drinking a cup of tea or coffee, watching the animals run by, we walked back inside. he showed me the laundry room that had a washer and dryer, then he showed me the bedroom, he was right, there was no bed. and i did not feel like sleeping on the couch, it didn't look too comfortable,

“So, as you can see. the bedroom needs a bed, and you will need food to eat. so we can head out and get a bed. I know a place where you can get a nice one. and then we can get groceries so you can eat and not starve.”

“Well. what are you wating for. lets get my stuff inside. and than head out, this is my hosue now.” again he smiled he helped me get all three bags into the house, i signed the contract, he gave me the keys, we first went to get the bed. i picked out a nice bedroom set, two dressers the bed came with two nightstands, and a couple of lamps, i paid two grand for it out right, i didnt feel like paying payments, the sales man told me the truck will be at the house in a few hours, so it will give me enough time to shop for food and maybe a few rugs for the house, maybe a few pictures as well, we left the store first we went inside a place called rugs, i bought three nice throw rugs, one had designs of flowers, second one had designs the third one had sunflowers on it, i knew where i was going to put all three, next we went into another store, that had all kinds of things in it, I bought a few things, with some beautiful hanging pictures, one was a mountain with snow on top of it, one was a large clock the other was a photo of a tub that said relax on it, the next stop was the food store, where i bought three hundered dollars in food, i didnt plan on going shopping any time soon, i looked at my watch, they would be there soon, so we hurried home. he helped me put the stuff in the house and unpacked the food putting everything away, i put the sunflower rug in my room, it lit up the place, the second rug that had the designs on it was in the kitchen, i put it underneath the dining room table., the third i put it in the living room. i hung the photos up. it was looking like my home now. soon we heard the truck pulling up. we walked outside just as they stopped the truck and got out,

“Alright, show me where you want the bedroom suit at, and my guys will put everything inside,” in the end i was ready to fall right onto my bed, i was tired after i did all that shopping today, but i have my home now. something that i felt safe inside, lets see if that jerk will try anything now, i have something up my sleeve, if they find me, they will be hanging upside down if they got near the house.,
