Before Luna could reach her room, tears started flowing down her cheeks violently. She wasn't exactly upset with her parents for dropping her back in her jail, rather she was mad at her medications for putting an end to her day instantly. She wished she could have spent the night staying up longer than she did.
Luna reached her room all frustrated. She flung open the door to her room aggressively and slammed down the bag on her shoulder as hard as she could on the floor, on entering her room. She sat on her desk and wept bitterly throwing down all the stationaries that rested on her desk, organized cleanly. She put her head in her palms and tried to calm down. A subtle tap on her left shoulder startled Luna. She turned around her head and immediately discovered Clara standing right behind her with a soft expression on her face. "You scared me." "Oh... not what I intended to do..." replied Clara. "May I sit?" Luna nodded in response.
Clara sat down on the bed while Luna was still sitting on her desk. "How long have you been standing here?" "Um... not long enough. But I hope there was nothing fragile in your bag" Clara said with a sarcastic tone. "So you saw everything." Clara stood up and hovered over Luna who was still shedding tears involuntarily. "It's ok Luna. this all... will be over soon. right before you would notice." "But it isn't. No matter how hard I try, I can't stop thinking about my home. Where I belong." Clara hugged Luna awkwardly but Luna shrugged away aggressively from Clara's hold. "I can't forgive you for putting such trash meds on my prescription though. Get away from me" Luna said defensively. Clara moved back, afraid of Luna's tone " I am just, trying to help you, Luna... It's all part of your treatment." Luna got up at once. She grabbed the pair of children's scissors lying on her desk. she held it like a weapon and glared back at Clara. "Luna this is not necessary. calm down." Clara was scared of the feral aura coming off Luna. Luna started stepping in Clara's direction. She snapped off the plastic blade with her bare hands and pointed it toward Clara. "You. You aren't as good as you show. You two-faced monster... You're done for." Clara progressively stepped backward putting her right hand in the pocket of her coat. "Luna you are not in the right head right now... Just calm down.. and put down the scissors, or else-" "OR ELSE? What are you gonna do? Huh? put me to sleep?" Luna was closer to Clara now. The door behind Clara was wide open but she didn't escape.
Luna was only a few centimeters away from Clara when the rehab staff ambushed Luna's room. two nurses ran behind Luna and held back her hands. The broken blade of the scissors dropped off her hand. "LET GO OF ME!!" screamed Luna. In the struggles, one of her hands got freed from the grip of one of the nurses and she instantly grabbed Clara by her neck. Another male nurse rushed into the room with a syringe in his hand. Clara was choking in Luna's tight grip on her neck. She thought she was going to die today for sure when the needle was forced on Luna and she instantly fell numb. the grip around Clara's neck loosened immediately and she stepped back gasping for air.
Fainted Luna was tied to her bed with ropes and she was left in her room. Clara was right outside the room being comforted by other doctors. "I need to make a phone call right now." Clara said "Clara, Clara calm down. Let's get the situation in our hands settled down first, then call her home. We can't let the parents be bothered too much. They will take away their daughter immediately. And we know it is not the solution." a colleague stood in front of Clara explaining to her how she should not make any rash decisions.
The staff locked away Luna's room and left her there. Laying numb. Deep in her slumber.
