“Do you think that he has seen it?” Victoria turned to ask me as the car finally pulled back up into my mother’s estate.
Of course he had seen it by now.
“I hope he has, I hope that all of them have seen it and they are realising that I’m not a weakling, they aren’t getting s**t from me.” I clenched my hands into fists and gritted my teeth at the memory of Daniel and Amelia together. They had taken me for a fool. Daniel had told me he loved me that he would never leave me or hurt me. He was the only one that I trusted except Victoria.
“Are you okay sweetheart?” My mother noticed how tensed that I had become.
I turned to her and forced a smile before nodding but the look in her eyes told me she didn’t believe it.
Of course she would not. She was my mother after all.
