Selina’s POV I grabbed my jacket without thinking it through. Without asking permission or telling anyone where I was going. My wolf pushed me forward, restless and demanding, and for once I didn’t fight the instinct. The forest swallowed me whole within minutes. Morning mist clung to the ground between towering pines, and my breath clouded in the cold air. I followed the bond like a compass, letting it guide me deeper into the woods until the cabin disappeared completely behind me. A prickle of awareness made me stop.
