Selina’s POV Alex was a ghost. He was there… I could feel him through the bond, a constant presence that pulsed with barely restrained tension…but he made himself scarce. He took early morning runs that lasted hours. Chopping wood until his hands bled. Long walks through the forest that took him far enough away that the bond stretched thin and uncomfortable.
