I lay on my bed, staring at my phone.
Selina’s last message was from three weeks ago. Just a quick “talk later” that never turned into an actual conversation.
Since then…nothing. Her parents said she was traveling. Taking a break. Visiting family in another territory. And I can continue guarding her when she comes back.
But she’d missed three weeks of school. Three weeks of training. Three weeks of everything.
And the triplets were gone too. All three of them. All at the same time, Selina supposedly decided to take a spontaneous trip.
It didn’t add up.
