Chapter 21After an exciting week working on dance routines with Ryan, a call from Daniel about progress on their case feels well timed. With control falling back in their hands finally, Jasper is feeling increasingly unstoppable. Especially when Daniel tells them the meaning for today’s visit.
“Back pay?” Simon asks.
“Everything owed to you since the release of your first album.” Daniel nods and opens up the folder. “He’s already sent signed cheques of what he owes you each.” The lawyer takes out five envelopes with their names printed on them. “Only one thing you need to know before you open these…”
Blake looks at Jasper and shakes his head. “Knew there’d be a catch.”
“Your manager split the rights according to who wrote the songs.”
