Chapter 26Their first celebrity party does not disappoint. The after party is in full swing even though the band arrive only an hour after they’d left the show. They walk into the venue, which Blake cynically describes as “a rich person’s version of a college house party.”
A well-decorated mansion with waiters wandering around with food platters or serving top shelf drinks. The authentic versions of celebrities are well on display. Awkward flirting and unexpected hook-ups are happening everywhere. Talk of drugs or taking drugs goes on pretty casually. Not much being done to hide it, and no one seems to care. There’s very little drama. The freedom and the privacy of like-minded company allows everyone to just have a good time without judgement.
