Chapter 27The sound of the building’s fire alarm pulls them from their peaceful sleep.
“What the hell?” Jasper rubs his eyes and grabs his phone to check the time just as his door opens.
Blake rubs his still half-closed eyes. “Jas, is Ryan with you?” he asks, his voice croaky. Ryan sits up in bed beside Jasper. Blake stares at them for a moment, then his attention drifts to the clothes on the floor. “Put your clothes on. Everyone in the building is being evacuated.”
The door closes and the pair get out of bed, grabbing their clothes from the floor, and pulling them on in a rush. Regardless of the fact the building could be on fire, Jasper is more worried about them walking out of his room together and being caught. He adjusts his clothes as he heads over to the door, walking out first.
