Dominic's POV
Stephen left on the same flight. It was unexpected that he boarded the same flight with us, but when we simultaneously threw him confused looks, he smirked and said, "I have a company to inspect."
My very close guess was that he would be going for a little visit to Clara's office. I wasn't quite sure what to do, whether she'd appreciate a little heads-up or hate me even more for ruining the surprise.
After an hour of intense internal debate, I finally opted for the former. Texting Clara was not as easy as I imagined. I could decide to be casual and cool, or stiff and straightforward. Kevin kept throwing me glances at my restlessness until he eventually pulled the phone from my grasp, read the message, edited a few words then passed it back to me.
