His Slave Luna: Prologue “I had already given up on life, but thanks to you, I found the strength to embrace life anew. And now, I choose to live it with you.” The surrounding chaos was deafening. The Moonbane Pack was under attack once more, the air filled with the terrifying howls of rogues and desperate cries. I knew this was my chance, my opportunity to escape this hellish place. Without a second thought, I slipped out of the packhouse, disappearing into the dense forest. My heart pounded in my chest as I ran, my feet pounding against the forest floor, and my breathing ragged and labored. I didn’t know where I was going, but I knew I had to keep moving. The rogue let out a final, agonized howl before falling silent while I watched the whole cruel scene. Then the silver wolf turned its gaze towards me. I noticed its glowing eyes softened, and its expression filled with compassion. Suddenly, I just felt a sense of safety and protection. My eyes remained fixed on the silver wolf who was oddly familiar as it approached me, its powerful strides slowing as it drew closer. Until its head lowered as its eyes met mine. In a moment of instinctive trust, I leaned forward, resting my head against its soft fur. I knew this silver wolf was a stranger but at the same time oddly familiar. Suddenly, I felt strong arms encircling me, a comforting warmth enveloping my trembling body, offering comfort and protection. Until a gentle and reassuring voice broke the silence. “Behati…” ***
