who am I?

A melody floated along the breeze, as I lay on the warm sand. It didn't have any words, a wordless melody that to my ear sounded like a choir of angels. I have never felt more at peace than listening to this heavenly music. I found myself underwater, breathing the water like I was on land still. No one would believe all of the beautiful jewel toned plants and animals that lived below the waves. There were emerald green seaweed, along with ruby colored fish. There were crabs that were sapphire blue with onyx claws. I blinked and found myself inside of a castle of some sort. the walls were white sandstone until the middle of the wall were it faded into a rich maroon. I was right outside of a room with a ruby red door. I could hear someone speaking in a language I had never heard. They sounded angry. I went to touch the door and another melody began. I touched the doorknob and tried to turn it, but suddenly I found myself back in my room soaked to the bone with sea water. This was the first time this had happened. I stripped my now soaked bedding and wiped down my mattress. Next was into the shower to wash the seawater off of me and to tame my curls. Meanwhile back under the sea, behind a familiar ruby red door, sat a woman dressed in a deep blue cloak sat in front of a cauldron. "She was here. Her powers have started to manifest. I can't believe she almost was able to open the door." said the cloaked woman. She lowered the hood of the cloak, her hair floated out from underneath it. It was white touched with silver at the ends. it contrasted with her pecan colored skin and gray eyes. she wasn't alone in this laboratory. "What would happen when she comes into her full powers? Would she try for the Throne? Would she even care about it? She lives among the humans. " said a merman. "We had better hope she doesn't come into her full power. Everything we know will change. She is part of a legendary Legacy. " said the woman. " I saw her sitting on the other side of the door. I had to send her back. She will know something happened. Merril she is not stupid. " said the mermaid.
