Chapter Eighty Six “BLIP, BLIP, BLIP” went the heart monitor machine. “Drip, drip, drip” went the IV, all signs that there was still life left of the man tucked away under the white sheets of The Intensive Care Ward of N. Las Vegas General Hospital. He had been slipping in and out of consciousness for days and everyone, the doctors, nurses, surgeons, hospital priests had marveled that he had not died from the horrendous, wound he had received. It was hard to kill some men, and because he had the resolve of a bull, it had been hard to kill him.
