The alphas prey

I took a quick look at Audrey to make sure she was still asleep then I pulled out my diary from the box under my bed and started writing. Dear diary today sucked we spent all day planning the party they're having for the triplets. I'm kinda jealous I never had a good birthday I'm sure when mom was still alive Audrey did but as you know my mom hated me. I'm trying to keep the secret my mom told me but it's getting harder I can't even write the secret in my diary just in case Audrey finds it and reads it. I still wear the necklace my dad gave me it helps with the secret I think it's special I don't know how but I'm not surprised. It sucks how our birthday is on the same day as Alex, Noah, and Conner's is but it's fine I guess I never really liked my birthday anyways I met with my producer, as soon as the school year is over I'm going on tour. I wish I could go now but I can't we have our stupid contract with the alpha and Luna we have to stay and work until we finish high school and then we can leave. I'm excited I've always wanted to explore the world and after this I can. I don't even care about my mate anymore. I want to be alone for a while to find myself anyways I should go to sleep I got school Tomorrow I pulled the shoe box out from under my bed and put my diary back in it. The box only has a couple of things in it my diary, songbook, drawing pad, blade, and pencils ect. I pushed the box back under my bed and laid down on my bed under the covers. I rolled around and fell asleep. I woke up to Audrey shaking me awake "What" I asked "It's time to get up" she said. As I rubbed my eyes, I started to talk. "What time is it," I asked getting up and grabbing a crop top and jean shorts "it's 5 hurry up and take a shower," Audrey said annoyed. We didn't have our bathroom like all the other rooms in the pack house we had a small storage room that could only fit two beds and a dresser. I ran to the bathroom in the common room and jumped in the shower. I quickly washed my hair, body and got out. I started doing my makeup I did a simple look for today just some concealer foundation and mascara. I untangled my curly brown hair. Afterwards I put on a pair of nikes they were a very old pair and just happened to be my size so the Luna gave them to me. I went downstairs to help Audrey finish up breakfast at the end we made Eggs, bacon, toast, and pancakes. When it was done and all set up it was 7:04. "s**t look at the time we have to go" Audrey said "Okay come on" I said as we made our way to the door. We left and headed to the bus stop. We barely made it in time and we sat next to each other on the bus. When we got to school I went with Nick and Audrey went with her friend Sofia which is also Alex's girlfriend. "Come here Nick" I said, pulling him through the halls. "Where are we going" Nick asked, confused. "We're going to C hallway" I said C hallway was the only hallway no teachers went down mostly because there was a dead end that way. "Why are we going to C hallway" he asked "You'll see" I said. When we finally made it to C hallway we went far down it so no one walking past could see us. After that I pulled a flask out of my purse "And where did you get this" Nick said, grabbing it from my hand. "Does it matter" I asked. "Depends what's in it" he asked "Just some bourbon" I said before he took a sip. "Give me it" I said snatching it out of his hand and taking a sip myself. Then I heard the bell ring "I can't skip again see you in 3rd period" I said "Yeah see you then" he said back before he left for his class as well. School was the same it is everyday first math (which I skipped), second English, third history(I skipped), Fourth study hall, fifth P.E sixth science and lastly seventh art. Before 3rd I met up with Nick Infront of his locker he was grabbing his books out of his locker before I started to talk "Wanna skip" I asked "Hell yeah" he said. "Where should we go" I asked "What about the crow" he asked. "We go there all the time" I said. "Do you think Zoe will come" Nick asked. "Probably not she has math this period she sucks at math" I said "I forgot about that" he said "We should ask Caroline" I said. "Yeah okay" he said when we got to Caroline's locker she was walking away. "Hey care" Nick said she turned around hearing his voice. "Hey I gotta get to class" she said "Wait do you wanna skip" I asked "You know what why not I hate Spanish class" she said. "Didn't you sign up for that class" Nick asked "Yeah but I thought it would be a easy A sense I'm fluent in Spanish but I'm failing" she said as we walked towards Caroline's car. "Isn't the teacher really mean for no reason" I asked "Yeah Mrs. Lopez I have her history class 7th period" Nick said. "She teaches history" Caroline asked "Yeah I guess" Nick responded. "So where are we going" Caroline asked. "I don't know where do you want to go" Nick asked "We could go to my house my mom won't care" Caroline said. "Bro you mom is the best" Nick said "Yeah I guess she's pretty cool" Caroline said as we all got into her car. "I have some weed at my house" Caroline said as she started to drive away from school. "Does your mom know" I asked "How do you think I got it" she said "Wow I'm loving Diane more and more by the second" Nick added. When we finally got to her house we went in and her mom was in the living room. "Hey Diane" Nick said for some reason she didn't like being called Mrs Moore. "I'm loving the sweater" I said "thanks honey but don't you guys have school today" she said looking at Caroline. "Yeah but we're skipping a few periods" Caroline said back to her mom "Okay do you guys want some snacks" she asked. "Yeah sure" Nick said before we went into Caroline's room. "Don't you have like a brother" I asked "He joined the military 3 years ago Autumn" Caroline said. "Damn really" I asked "Yeah" she said as she was rolling blunt "did you really forget that" Nick asked me. "Honestly I'm kinda stupid" I said "We can tell" Caroline said before lighting the joint and taking a hit. She then gave it to Nick and Nick took a hit then handed me the joint. After school I went back on the bus "Our you drunk" Audrey asked me "No I'm not drunk" I said "I don't believe you" Audrey said. "I promise okay" I said to be fair I wasn't drunk I was high. "Whatever Autumn" she said, when we got off the bus we had to walk home. We lived in the bayou in Louisiana our pack was known as the bayou pack and we had a whole little town in it. They're are healers and teachers and hunters they choose the bayou because no one really come in it. After we got back to the pack house we met with the party planner Ronnie. I hate her all she cares about is the triplets and she wears really revealing clothes even though shes in her 40s it's honestly embarrassing. We spent that whole night hanging streamers and blowing up balloons making sure that every detail was perfect. After we got done with the party we only had 1 hour before we had to turn into wolves. "Are you excited" Audrey asked me "No why would I be excited all are bones will break" I said. "Because we can finally find our mate" she said "I don't really care about that anymore" I said. We spent a whole 50 arguing about how I need to care and stupid stuff. We went outside at 11:50 not knowing what to expect from the transition. Should we take our clothes off" Audrey asked "Yeah we should" I said as I began to take off my clothes. I kept my necklaces on though it's bad when I don't wear it. "You should take off your necklaces too" Audrey said. "Why" I asked "Well they could get broken when you turn" she said. "it'll be fine" I refused. Then midnight came and our bones started to break it was like I couldn't breath all I felt was pain. I already knew what to expect nicks mom had told me all about it. She said my bones would break I'd be in the worst pain I've ever felt but being a wolf is the best feeling you can feel. After what felt like hours my bones stopped breaking, I looked down and saw two golden brown paws. I looked over to where Audrey was standing and she was a wolf too. Her fur a golden brown color like our hair and her eyes still the same baby blue color we share. Without talking we both came to an agreement to stay together and we ran side by side through the woods. Nicks mom was right it was the best feeling I've ever felt it was like I was free and powerful almost like no one could hurt me.
