“El!” Tuxtax yelped in joy, shaking Em’s shoulders in excitement as they approached the jagged rock face. “I can’t wait for you to meet her! You’re going to love her, Em!”
“I’ll wait for you down here,” Rixa interjected, kneeling at the base of the boulder to play with Surrufus.
Em looked up at the massive outcrop of rocks and cringed. She suggested, “Why don’t you bring her down instead? I don’t think I can fly that high yet. My wings aren’t very strong yet. It will be easier if I wait down here with Rixa.”
