Max saw all the events through the screen. It's not clear who did it, but Max suspects it was Janeth.

"Are you happy to see your present?" Martha asked. "I also have a present for you."

Martha gave a gift. Max accepted warily. After opening it turned out to be a bracelet.

"Thanks," Max said with a smile. Max knew deep inside that the bracelet had been tapped.

"Are you Martha's boss. I mean Maria Thalia?" Max asked.
