Elaine’s POV
Silence.
Entire dinning room is filled with silence.
I can see the shock on my father’s face but soon that shock is replaced by anger. He left my wrist and took a threatening step in my mate’s direction.
I knew he will be angry when he will find out who my mate is. And I knew what will be his next words. I was dreading hearing them.
“Reject him”
Two words which came out of his mouth caused my heart to clench painfully. My wolf whimpered at the thought of rejecting her mate.
