Innocently Evil

The night was cool and quiet, everyone and animals in their home or barn, it was in the middle of the night but you can still see the lights on in some houses, maybe they were reading or having a family time. "Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!" A loud chilling scream tore the night stripping it of it's peace and tranquility, all lights were off immediately to prevent themselves from getting unwanted attention from the cause of the scream. As if knowing that there was danger, all animals seized all sort of noise, the whole village seemed like a graveyard. Pandora wasn't left out, she was among those awake reading a book she got from the village library, she had puff out the light in her room and shut her window tightly, she quietly went to her younger sibling's room to find him sleeping soundly. No one came out to know what caused the scream or who did or if the person needed help, no one wanted to be in the same shoe as the screamer. In the middle of the forest in front of the village, a young woman was vomiting blood, her red dress which shows her profession stained further, she was struggling against the monster latched on her opened stomach spilling her insides, after feeding on her alive the monster watched as light left her eyes gradually, he dragged her by her fair smooth ankle further into the haunting forest. The next morning, a proud big c**k cuckooed to alert everyone about the sun rearing it's head in a distance, he did it twice to make sure everyone heard him and woke up especially his owner so that he can be feed. Pandora woke up beside her brother and shook him gently to wake him up too, he was rubbing his eyes to remove sleep as he sat up, "Good morning Pan " "Good morning Ely" "Did you sleep in my room?" "Yes, I did, I missed you so much so I crept inside beside you, you didn't even stir, I could have kidnapped you " "I didn't stir because I know it was you" "Okay sir, have heard you, now let's go prepare to take the sheep out and go to the market " "Okay, an leading today, you promised " "No problem then but it depends on your speed" She haven't finished when the small guy gently pushed her off his bed and started arranging his bed, she smiled and left him to his device, she went outside to get the bucket to go fetch water from the village well. "We are fine, thank you " She arrived at the well and her best friend Light smiled at her, they playfully bumped each other on the shoulder while giggling. "I can see you two uglys don't have anything to do this morning than to gossip" "It's only a gossip if it isn't true" Light replied her with the same haughty attitude she used on her, the girl's face twisted in anger, she composed herself and crossed her hands in front of her rather small breast and said with venom dripping from her words. "You think he is not making it official because he wanted to have enough money for your hand, haa, keep dreaming it's because he wants me instead and have realised how cheap and dirty you are" Light's face contorted a little in disbelief but remembering last night made her proud and firmer, "Well we know the dreamer now, no one reasonable will ever want you with your disgusting attitude " "What did you just say to me, you wretched girl...." She raised her hand to slap her but Pandora held her then slowly dropped her hand, "Bethany, let's not start a fight early this morning " "Well, I will leave you urchins to continue with whatever poor people do in the morning, Sarah, Brid let's go" "Humph" The other two snorted at the girls before following their leader like puppy after it's mother. "How dare she? Just because her father is the village head she thinks she can do whatever she wants " Light said as she watches the three girls leave, Pandora only shrugged her shoulders at her words, everyone knows that Bethany is all daddy's girl, "Well as we can see, but Light I suggest you tell your parents about Samuel " "You think so?" "Uhuh, tell them what he said, if he is really serious then he can understand " "Okay I will do just that once I get home" She patted her head and smiled at her, if there is one thing Pandora likes about Light it's that she isn't stupid to not listen to reason when she likes someone. " Are you going to the market today with Ely?" "Yes, I wanted to sell on of the sheep there and some milk too, I ran out of rice and vegetables " "Okay I will go with you two, mother already agreed " "Come to my house when you are done, I will be waiting for you " "Mhmm"
