Chapter 4: Glowing waters

Alison's POV
By the time I pull up to the lake house it almost 6.
I try calling my mom's phone but it keeps going to voicemail.
Damn it mom, pick up your phone.
I grab Celia's phone as I leave the car, I made sure the park farthest away from the house.
I hear the the loud music pounding in my ear as I search for Celia. I finally see her but she's arguing with Eric.
Him again.
"Hey d**k head stay the hell away from her!" I shout shoving him roughly.
"What the hell?"
"What the hell did you do to my mom today?" I ask getting up in his face.
"I never spoke to your mom, what is this all about this?"
"You lair, I left you in her office! And now, now I can't get to her!" I yell and I start attacking unwanted attention.
"Hey calm down, he's been with me this whole time."
"Don't touch me." I slap her hand looking at her like a stranger. "What's the secret word."
She looks around making sure no ones looking or listening.
"It pudding." She whispers and I feel like a weight was lifted off me.
I relax for the first time today as she pulls me in for a hug.
"Look he's on our side okay." She say rubbing my back gently.
"We need to go somewhere quiet so we can talk. And we have to hide from those impostors." Celia say pulling me to the house with Eric in tow.
I look down by the river bed only to see scores of half naked girls in the lake, some of them had solo cups in hand while others had some kind of alcoholic beverage.
The thing where everything moves in slow motion suddenly happens again and I finally understand why. It's because my life is about to change forever.
We enter a vacant room and she locks the door behind us.
"Let's get straight to the point. Your not who you think you are and everything your mom told you is true, it's not some dumb birthday prank. Those people you saw who looked like me and Eric or evil half elves and they want nothing but to kill or kidnap you and your sister."
"Slow down. This is crazy talk, what sister? I don't have a sister."
"Look Alison, there's no time to stop or slow down I know all of this is hard to believe and it's a lot to take in but you just have to. You have a twin sister named Alissa and they are here for the both of you. Your mom is out there right now trying to reach out to her parents to make sure they didn't get to her. And we need to do a tracking spell to find her right now."
My vision goes blurry for a few seconds and all I can think about is that dream I keep having of me and that girl.
Why am I incapable of thinking of anything else no matter how hard I try.
"Their here, we need to move now." Eric say closing the curtains.
"Whose here?" I ask trying to catch my breath.
"We need to move right now." Eric says hastily.
"Look I'm your protector and he was sent here to bring us back the Elphime. There no more time to explain we need to open a portal and go."
Someone start banging on the door and the sudden noise startles me. None of us move to open the door and then a sword is shoved through it.
The person cuts the door open and steps in.
"She's coming with me guardian."
Eric quickly lounges at him and they start to fight.
"Go I'll meet you by the quiet side of the lake when I'm done with him." He shouts at us and Celia doesn't hesitate.
She grabs my hand and pulls me downstairs. We bump into a bunch of people some of them even spill their drinks because of us but we can't stop to apologize.
I hear the guys scream just as we are about to exit the house and everyone looks upstairs in terror.
"No worries guys he's just drunk, he walked into a wall." Eric come to the top of the stairs and announces, obvious to the truth they all burst out laughing.
As we reach closer to the lake the music gets softer and softer.
"Hey Celia why don't you come join us." A guy shouts from the river.
"Over my dead body Mark, besides isn't your girlfriend out front?" She asks and he starts panicking.
"Oh sh*t she is?" He hurries out of the water and grabs his clothes while everyone else laughs at him.
"This is a good spot."Cilia says stopping abruptly.
She calms herself by taking deep breath.
"Give me your hand, and just think about that dream you've been having."
"How do you know about that?"
"I'm your guardian, I know everything." She smile at me. "Where's the necklace."
I pull it out and show her while taking a good look at it for the first time.
It looks like a lunar eclipse. It's so beautiful.
"Good, now close your eyes and concentrate on her and only her." She say holding my hands.
I take a deep breath and o as I'm told, I the the dream play out in my mind on loop. Trying to pick up more details about her.
A vision of her and two other people flash in my mind and I see her face clearly for the first time she looks exactly like.......
Me...
Startled I let go of Celia's hands.
"What happened? What did you see?" She asks holding on to my face.
"Your not lying, this is real." I say the shock finally sinking in.
"Oh my gosh. This is crazy, am I crazy?" I start to rant.
"Alison focus."
I have no choice, I've saw her. It was like I've seen her before. She looks exactly like but instead of black hair she has blonde hair.
I grab Celia's hands and start to focus as hard as I can.
They were telling the truth all along, I just couldn't believe it.
"Alison look." Celia says and I open my eyes.
"This is unreal."I gasps.
A small portion of the water is glowing bright blue like something out of a fairytale and my necklace is glowing along with it.
"This will take us to your sister. But I don't see Eric."
She spoke too soon, we she Eric running full speed towards us with two persons following closely behind.
"Go! Go! Go! Don't wait for me!" He yells and it catches everyone across the lake attention.
"What's that?"
"It looks like the water is glowing."
"Jump in now!" Celia commands.
"But-
"Alison theres no time!" Is the last thing she says before pushing me in.
I feel like I'm being pulled down then everything becomes so bright I can't see anything.
All of a sudden the water becomes bright blue and pushes me to the surface.
I jump up gasping for air when I I surface it somehow daylight and I see two girls and a boy running out of the water and screaming.
Then my eyes land on her.
