My Ex is back,What next?

What is going on?

Joanna walk briskly into Alliance company,her head pounding rigorously.she had woken up with a splitting headache,it obvious she did not sleep well.she is putting on a pencil skirt with a crop top-shirt.making her curve very obvious to the public.she wanted the saying 'the way you dress,the way people address you' to speak for her today.she got to her office 6:25am.

she was willing to give it her all inorder for her boss to promote her after the alliance company sponsor theirs.

few minutes later,Alex walk into the company closely followed by his personal bodyguard, Nathan.

A couple of minutes later....,Alex glance at his wristwatch....dammit,why as she not bring him his coffee.

"Hello,good morning Mr Earhart...how.....". "my office"he said and hung up on her.

Joanna heart tighten for an unknown reason,his voice does not sound pleasing to the ear.she stood up,walk to his door and knock.

"come in" closing the door as silently as she could,she breaths heavily.

"where is my coffee?,Alex asked visibly offended.

"OMG!,am so sorry....I....I..I forgot..let me get it for you .. Joanna said looking apologetic, while she walk out of the office.

Joanna walk into Alex office 3o minutes later with a cup of hot coffee. place the coffee on his table and turn to leave.

"wait!,

she halt and turn to face him.

"The coffee is to hot,make another one"Alex stood up and pour the coffee inside the toilet.

Joanna sigh,took the cup and walk out of the office to prepare another coffee.

Grace marshall walk hurriedly into the company after bribing the security at the gate.she is late for work and she knows Alex will not tolerate it.

she frown as she remember the blind date her parents had told her about before leaving the house. Although she had repeatedly told them that she is not interested in the blind date but she knew they were not going to yield to her opinion.

she sat down in her office and went through Alex pictures she had secretly taken.smiling happily,she walk to his office,and knock.

"come in"

she went Inside and smile at him.

"Good morning Alex",she wonder what he did to her to make her always fall in love with him all over again anytime she sees him.she must marry him,she conclude in her mind.she had told her parents about her feelings for him but they had told her they don't want him for their son-in-law, because he is too older than her.

"Alex ,I miss you,I did not realize when you left the company yesterday.was so occupied with work"she said and hug him.

Joanna walk into the office the six time with a cup of coffee in her hand , sweating profusely. shocked to see a lady hugging Alex,she release the cup unconsciously.

Alex look up,after hearing the sound of the cup shattering.

"miss rays what is going on?He ask while he release himself from grace embrace.

"am ...am sorry ,my hand slip"Joanna replied as she bent down to clean up the mess.

Alex smiled,he knew the reason why the cup fell from her hand.he had intentional waited for her to come into his office before he release himself from grace embrace,he wants her to feel pain just as he had felt too then.

Grace was a little surprise when Alex did not scold her for her uncultured behavior in his office,maybe he is already developing feelings for her.she smile joyfully as she thought that all her efforts have start paying off eventually.

little did she know Alex was just using her,he has no such intention towards her.

"Alex am going to the cafeteria to get some snacks,what should I get for you"Grace whisper in his ear seductively.

"anything is fine"He replied as he breathes heavily due to her breath penetrating in his ear.

Grace smile as she saw him breathing heavily,she quickly unbutton one button on his shirt and slip her hand into his shirt.

Alex gasp as he realizes what was going on.He won't allow her to have hope of them being together when he knows he is not really interested in her.He hurriedly remove her hand and was trying to button his shirt when Joanna entered his office with another cup of coffee.

Joanna look at him as he frantically tries to button his shirt. startled,she quickly put the coffee on his table,look at grace and walk out of the office,visibly. hurt.

"Alex do you know your assistant somewhere before"grace ask suspiciously.

"why the sudden question,what going on"Alex ask avoiding her question.

"well....she have this hurtful look on her face and she was looking menacing at me.

"Grace use the door,am not in the mood for all these chitchat.

grace murmur as she walk out of the door.it seems there is something going on between Alex and his new P.A.she can't afford to lose him to someone else.

Joanna collapse on the couch, immediately she got home.looking tired,it been a long day.she suddenly crave for pizza.she decides to place a call to her friend to get one for her.

"hey Kylie, what's up"

"am good,you are back from work already?

"yeah!,am suddenly craving for pizza,can you get it and some soju when coming back?

"sure,I will try to get home on time,don't forget to do the laundry"she said and hung up.

Joanna frown,her friend definitely knows how to force her do the chores in the house.she sigh as she remember grace from the office.she had heard the other staff gossiping about her.she came to Alliance to work just because of Alex and she is doing everything she could to gain his attention and his feelings for her.Her effort seems to pay off.But Joanna does not know why her heart beats painfully when she saw them together in his office.Is like Alex had really moved on already.But she can't seem to get him out of her mind.
