Where Love Collides

As I looked through the rain streaked windows of my bedroom I couldn't of been more removed from everyone else. There was a tug of war going on inside of me. One side of me knowing what I must do and the other side wanting to run as far away as I could. It all seemed to unreal to me. Married. I was going to be married to some stranger in a few months. Exactly two months, three days, and twelve hours to be exact. That is when I would turn eighteen and become an acceptable age for matrimony. And I wasn't marrying for love. It would be a business transaction. My mother would sell our land to the man who offered the most for my hand in marriage and get us out of debt. Since my father's sudden death we had suffered in more ways than one. But our financial woes were the greatest and it fell upon me being the oldest to save the family. It felt like a giant burden was being placed upon my shoulders. Yet I saw no other way than to agree to this. I knew my mother's words were right and I was just being selfish not wanting to hear them. There was alot to be done in the upcoming months if I was to be married so as the rain slowly began to diminish and lighten the charcoal skies I went about my daily chores. But I did so with a heavy heart. I ached so badly to have my father back again but there was no way that would ever happen. I couldnt imagine anyone anywhere who in this moment felt as sad as me. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Only few miles from the outskirts of Avaland, in NightCrest Forest was a young man barely making it through all the rough pathways on his feet. He was doubled over in pain and dirty from his long travel. His blonde hair kept falling into his eyes making it harder to know which way to go. His name was Ares. He was now all alone. Him against the world. His legs finally gave way and he sunk to the ground. He couldnt possibly go any further. At this point in time he really didnt care much what happened. He already had been exiled from Asgardian. He had been one of the bravest warriors they had till he got gravely injured. So he was no longer useful or needed. And with nowhere to go he had stumbled across this forest and had somehow got turned around. For he had been lost for what seemed days in this god forsaken dark and damp forest. He was cold and in pain. His mood had fallen greatly. He never had been one to give up but in this moment he did.
