Chapter 2:Freya

My eyes shoot open quickly when I realize that I can't move. My body is already healing which is a good sign buy I know where I'am right now. The last thing I remember is losing consciousness while carrying Celeste on my back.
" Celeste ,"I hiss remembering my twin sister and where she could be right now.
The door slightly opens and a girl that is my age steps in with something in her hands. She isn't human but she doesn't smell like a wolf either. My hackles rise and my wolf starts pacing back and forth trying to understand what's going on . Every scent in this room is driving me crazy and I just want to leave with my sister right now. I look at my arm and it's already healed. I genuinely thought I was dead.
"You are finally awake ! "The girl smiles," it has been two days ! "
Two days? I gasp at how much time has passed since I fainted.
"Where's my sister ? "I hiss ignoring who she is anyway.
The mysterious girl is quite short, with long wavy black hair and kind brown eyes. Her dressing is a little weird considering the temperature of the room I'm in. She is in sweatpants and hoodie even though it's hot inside. She must be sick or just completely weird.
" Your sister is fine ,"she replies while rolling her eyes.," I couldn't tell the difference between you two but I could see how weak she is. I'm trying everything I can to help her."
My heart doesn't even relax because I don't even know if my sister and I are safe in this place. I don't even trust the person in front of me. I stand up and decide to get my sister. I need to escape this place before Alpha Cain catches up to us.
"hey relax,"The girl looks back at me and places her hands on my shoulder ," your sister will be fine. Her wounds are taking long to heal and I need some herbs that will aid me."
"I can find them "I reply quickly," We can't stay here and I appreciate-"
"I'm fawne by the way ,"she cuts me off and thrusts a crumpled paper in my face ,"This is the city and these herbs are not just found anyway,"
Fawne looks at me with an expectant face waiting for me to say something. I take the piece of paper and look at the writings on it. It definitely looks like ingredients that can only be found in a forest.
"And I'm freya ,"I answer reluctantly," I can help you get them ."
"Well ,Freya ,"Fawne frowns at me ," If you want your sister to live ,you need to go and hurry up. You don't need to go very far because,there's a lady that sells herbs just a few blocks away .You will find her."
I nod my head like I fully understand what Fawne is trying to say but I leave immediately because I know how fragile my twin sister is because my wolf is has strong sense of smell and getting this ingredients wouldn't be hard. The only uncomfortable situation is that this is the city and it is filled with humans. Something that I'm not used to . The different smells and the noises are putting my wolf on edge. I don't know how on earth someone can get used to this ?
I finally spot the little store that resembles the description from Fawne's words. Smiling weakly at the front door that is ahead of me ,the sudden sound of growling and two angry men catches me off guard.
I turn around and spot two men in the alley kicking and trying to rob an innocent human in the corner of the street. It is completely dark and I don't think anyone can even notice that someone is actually being robbed.I want to turn and leave because there's no way I'm going to waste my time on a situation that clearly doesn't involve me but the more I can't resist the urge to to go and check because something strong is pulling me to what's going on.
"Kill him ! " The voice growls as I get closer to have a look.
