Chapter 9:Jesse

*Flash Back*

"It's not looking good," Mum says as she crushes the herbs and rubs them on the swirling scars that resembles chains.

My body finally relaxes after six hours of a complete seizure. I don't know how the f**k this happened,the only thing I remember is trying to shift into my human form after getting stabbed by a specific group of wolves.

"It is like a slow poison embedded with some sort of magic to weaken your wolf," my mum explains with look of concern on her face," You won't be able to live long with the seizures Jesse"

No one is strong enough to use magic posion unless they are working with a witch that is strong enough to kill me. I have a lot of enemies because of how terrible my personality is so I'm not surprised.No one likes the Lycan king after all.Every pack fears me and I'm not surprised that a group is willing to kill me or someone.

"What do you mean by that ? "I growl at her while trying to understand what she means by Nothing makes sense at all.

" This isn't just a wound my child ,it's a curse and the only way to get rid of it is by mating with someone equally powerful,"she explains," The seizures will only make your wolf weak every year until you die and there's nothing you can do"

I don't know anyone who is equally powerful.I'm the most feared lycan king and I'm the strongest person I know. I take a deep breath and wait for my mother to finish chanting as she waves some incense around my head.

" Until you find the silver wolf with a mark. This will suppress your wolf's presence from your enemies, it's not safe of every pack in the state know that the lycan king is suffering from a curse ,"

*End of flashback*

I thought it was going to be easy but no ,It has been two weeks since Freya accepted my proposal and it has been two weeks of trying to be close to her.She hates me and tries as much as possible to spend her time away from me.Everytime I feel like I'm going to have a seizure and she touches me accidentally, everything just disappears like nothing happened.My wolf has been impatient but i don't know how I can meet the conditions that I need to remove this s**t that is plaguing my life.

"What if it turns out that she is not the one," my wolf sulks.

"And it's so late ,why isn't she here? "I growl to my wolf.

"You are the one who thought it was best to give her space. You suggested that because you don't want to mark her without her permission,"my wolf mocks me .

"Of course I can't do that ,"I grumble.

Fuck! I growl as I look at my watch and the window of my luxury office. It is only 6pm and I haven't seen Freya since I woke up . My wolf is feeling uncomfortable and I hope she is not trying to back away from the proposal. I only need to a few more days to find out how I can use her to my advantage.

"I couldn't find her , "Andrew enters my office while pressing his phone like the jerk that he is.

I try my best not to react because of how impatient my wolf is.I can already feel the fur sproutjmg from my skin in anger and my fists clenched so tightly , my hand would snap in an instant.

" What do you mean you couldn't find her ? You are my beta and you are suppose to do the dirty work for me ,"I grumble.

Andrew looks up from his phone and sighs heavily.Apart from Freya,he is the second person that really doesn't fear me or care about my tantrums.

" Did you search harder? "I growl while grabbing the collar of his shirt.

" I have been watching her like you asked me but there's a place she goes to that I know you won't be happy about,"he gulps in fear .

"f**k ! "I growl while I push the papers from my desk in anger.

"And your mother wants to see you ,"he adds quietly.

I wouldn't care if my mother wanted to see me. She will probably just berate my lifestyle.

"As long as it has nothing to do with my Freya then I don't want to talk to anyone ,"I push the chair back and get quickly ready to leave because the only thing on my mind is how I need to find that girl.

My wolf is pacing back and forth fighting to get out. Before I know it I am already heading out from the building and and heading straight to my vehicle with my beta Andrew behind my Nothing prepares me for what I see when I finally reach the location.My wolf surges forward in anger when he sees Freya in a little short that exposes her skin and a black tank top as she fights another female. There's just no f*****g way I'm going to let my finance go through with this.

"Freya ,"my deep voice rumbles when my eyes land on her.
