The Power of Love

On the far side of Negros province, there lived a simple and unique little girl named Nica. Nica was second to the last child, and she had 9 siblings. Of all her other siblings, only Nica had blue eyes and white skin. She was loved very much by her family. Despite the life they had, it didn't stop them from enjoying their life to the fullest. Their home was far from the city , all they had was a Carabao to use in farming, a lot of chickens in the backyard and a spacious garden to play in. Nica really wanted to go to school to study. She had a big dream and wanted to finish her studies so she could help her family in the future. After she finished elementary, Nica was excited to proceed with her high school journey. Later then, when she was already in her 3rd year, her parents told her to stop because they couldn't afford to send her to school anymore. Nica was very sad, it is just that she cannot continue her dreams anymore. Since her family couldn't afford it anymore, she tried to find a part-time job to sustain her studies. But because of her situation, she wasn't able to continue it and decided to stop.
