Chapter 12: Reunion In The Ice Palace

head down low to avoid the wind. "Not until we find Rena" Sora said, determined. "We're here!" White Wolf chirped. I looked up to see a beautiful palace made out of ice.
"D-do you live here?" I stammered. "Yep, this where I live, come on in" she said warmly. I walked in doorway and slipped. "Whoa!" I yelled. "Don't slip" she advised me. "Easy for you to say" I muttered. We walked up to a icy stairwell to a room.
"This is my room" White Wolf explained to me. We stayed in her room till we there was knock on the door. knock knock, White Wolf got up and walked to the door. "Yes" she answered. There was whispering then White Wolf turned to face me, her eyes told me that she was confused. "What's the matter?" I asked her. "It seem we have visitors" she said.
"Can I come with to see who they are?" I asked. "Sure" she said. We ran down the stairs with incredible speed. White Wolf opened it and five bodies tumbled in. "Oh my" a maid said.
"It's my friends" I said. "They seem all right, all they need is food and rest" White Wolf estimated. "Is it okay if we stay for tonight, White Wolf?" I asked. "I don't mind" she said. "There's is one downside" she said. I c****d my head. "You all have to share a room with someone" she answered.
(back at the cave) "I wonder if they found Rena?" Meka asked herself making a fire. (back at the palace) "We have to share a room with someone?' I asked. "Yep" White Wolf answered with a smile. Later that night we were taken to our rooms. "This is where you will be staying" a maid said to Silver and Kiba. Everyone was shown to their rooms, I was bunked with Sora. "I don't know about you but I'm taking a shower" Sora told me.
"All right, I'm going to go exploring" I said. "Have fun" he said as I left the room and him to the shower. I peered through the rooms either the occupants were asleep or the rooms were vacant, until I peered into Axel's room. He looked furious at someone, as I looked closer, I saw it was White Wolf, she had someone with her. I think it was her bodyguard, whose name is Ice. I closed his door quietly and walked in my room to find Sora out of the shower.I waved at him.
"Your turn" he said, handing me a towel. "Wha?" I asked, surprised. "You need to get clean" he said. I looked down at my clothes to see them muddy and wet from snow. "I'll take that towel now, if you don't mind" I said sheepishly. Sora gave me the towel and left. "Aah" I sighed happily.
(outside in the palace) "Sora, are you sure we should be doing this?" Axel asked. "Yes" he said. While I was in the shower I heard a knock on the door. "Miss Rena, did you find everything to your liking?" Ice asked through the door. "Yes, just one thing" I said. "What's that Miss Rena?" he asked. "Could you deal with the Peeping Tom outside?" I asked.
"We've been made Ax" Sora said as he and Axel toppled into the snow. "I'll see what I can do" Ice said with a smirk. I dried myself off and ran outside. "Are you okay?" I asked Sora and Axel. "Yes we're just a little cold" Axel said. "Come on everyone back inside" Ice said with a yawn. "Hey, Rena will you sleep with me?" Sora asked sheepishly.
I smacked him hard. "No, I'll sleep on the floor!" I yelled angerly. "A simple no would have been fine" he muttered. Couple hours later Sora woke me up. "Hey, Rena can you come with me, please?" Sora asked.
"Why?" I asked still half-asleep. "I want to ahow you something" he said with excitement. "Okay, I'll follow" I said. We walked out of the palace. "Whoa!" I yelled, losing my balance.
"Don't worry I got you" Sora said pulling me closer to him. "What did you want to show me?" I asked. "Look up" he said. We both looked up to the sky dancing with lights. "What's that?" I asked.
"It's called the Aurora Borealis" he said. We watched the Aurora Borealis until I started to yawn. "I shouldn't have woken you" he said. "It's fine I don't think this happens everyday" I said pointing to the Aurora Borealis. We laid down and watched the Aurora Borealis till we both fell asleep.
