Chapter 13: White Wolf Captured

Next morning came. "Wake up!" Silver yelled to us. "Huh wha?" I said groggily. "Did you have fun last night?" she asked us. I rubbed my eyes and saw that Silver had a newspaper. "What's that?" I asked. "It's the paper" she answered.
"Anything newsworthy?" I asked her. "See for yourself" she said handing me the paper. I looked at it and saw the headline: WHITE WOLF CAPTURED! in big letters. "She was captured!" I yelled with shock. "Yeah while you went on your midnight stroll with Sora she was captured" Silver said. "We were watching the Aurora Borealis" I said quietly. "Wake Sora up, the others are waiting" Silver said, turning to walk away.
I kicked Sora in the ribs to wake him up. "Huh wha?" he said. "White Wolf has been captured, Silver and the others are waiting for us" I told him. He got up quickly and we went to where the others were waiting. "Are we ready?" Axel asked. "We're ready!" we yelled. "Wait for me!" a voice yelled behind us.
"We don't need you along, Ice" Axel said scornfully. "Let him come along Axel" I said. "Fine, but no flirting with the girls" Axel warned. "I won't" Ice said. We walked away from the Ice Palace and walked to where we left. "Meka, come on we need you!" I yelled inside the cave. "I'm coming!" she yelled.
After we got Meka we walked awhile longer till we had to stop and rest. Grumble grumble went Kiba's stomach. "I hear you" I said, getting food out for everyone. (White Wolf's prison) "I'll never tell you where their at!" White Wolf exclaimed. A hand slapped her hard across the face. "You'll tell me where they are heading, you damn piece of trash!" Red-Eye yelled. "I don't know where their next destination is, but I'm still not telling you where they are" White Wolf said.
Red-Eye smacked her. "Fine I'll just keep you here" Red-Eye said with clenched teeth. (Back with the pack) "That was good" Sora said with a full belly. "Come on, let's start walking" I said, nudging Sora off the log. "When was she taken?" I asked Silver. "No one knows, but whoever took her was clever enough to get past the guards" she answered. Boom "It's going to rain we need to find a place to weather it out" Meka said.
"I see a cave we can fit in" Axel stated. "Yay, let's get in!" Akoya exclaimed. "It looks kinda small, are you sure this the only one you could see?" I asked. "I thought it would help us get closer" he said, eyeing Meka. "I don't want to be close to anyone" I snapped at him. "Someone needs to be loved" Axel said quietly. "What was that, Axel" I snapped.
"I said, someone needs to be loved and that someone is you" he repeated. He let his words hang in the air for a moment. His words were rattling in my head for awhile. My body felt numb and cold. I laid down at the mouth of the cave and stayed there. "Uh Re-" Kauma started to say but was cut off by Sora. "Don't bug her" he said gently.
I fell into an uneasy sleep. I woke up to rustling. "Where are you going?" Silver asked me half-asleep. "Outside" I answered. "Okay" she said going back to sleep. I walked outside to see Axel getting drenched. "Axel what are you doing out here?" I asked.
"Just thinking" he said. "About what?" I asked. "Listen, about what I said" he startes to say. "Oh that, that's nothing don't worry about it" I stammered. "I'm sorry" he said. "Apology accepted" I said. "Now let's get out of the rain" I said, dragging him back to the cave.
Morning came and the birds were chirping. "Good morning, honey" Sora said to me. I looked to see that we were nose-to-nose. "Your horrible" I said, punching him in the chest. "Ow!" he yelled in pain. "Get up you big baby" I said to him. "Well look whose up are little ray of darkness is looking pretty today" Axel said with a hint of sacrasm.
I popped him on the head. "Ow" he said, rubbing his head with his hand. "If anyone needs me, I'll be under a waterfall" I said waving bye to the others. "And if I see any Peeping Toms, their heads are mine!" I yelled the warning. Sora, Kiba, Axel, Ice, and Kazuma scuttled back to the cave with terror.
