The burning tall buildings were the first sight we saw when we first came to town.
It really feels like hell.
Civilians ran to save their lives. Bring the kids and any valuables they can hold.
The fire continued to burn, burning the entire city.
"What a mess!" Ramesh was astonished to see the state of the city which had been ravaged.
"We must quickly evacuate the civilians." Veer understands what we have to do soon.
"Commander Aray! Please order!" Alisa looked at me expectantly.
I'm sure the four of them have really sincere souls.
"The four of you must quickly evacuate the civilians. If there are casualties in this incident, please report to me as soon as possible."
"Then what about you?"

I walked on the main road surrounded by fire which was emitting its anger.

I entered the small alleys, hoping the intruder would hide there.
As I stopped at the end of this alley, I saw a black shadow covered in smoldering flames.
I waved my hand now and then to blow the flames into the air.
When the fire disappeared from my sight, someone was standing pointing one hand at me and the other in his pocket.
"Devil's Breath."
His hand shoots a sea of fire at his opponent without hesitation.
Deftly, I dodged the flames by teleporting and appeared standing in the air against gravity.
His attack hit the building standing behind me, burning it to nothing.
The man looked up and gave an annoying smile.
This is Ryan Alvarado.
I clenched my jaw.
"Yo, Aray! Long time no see! I haven't seen you at school lately. Are you sick?"
The air of Alvarado's presence was very different from usual. He exerts strong pressure on those around him.
The joy I used to see had vanished as if it had never existed in the first place.
"What are you doing in this place, Alvarado?" I asked suspiciously.
"Is your eyesight so bad that you can't see what I'm doing?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Are you so deaf that you can't hear my questions?" I replied.
"Hm... you don't realize how great my painting is?" he asked, spreading his arms.
He became a different person. Or maybe he was just pretending all this time?
I looked at him like I was staring at an i***t.
"Haha... I know jokes won't work for you. I actually enjoyed our time together, but I think it's a good time. Can you guess who I am?"
My gaze slowly moved down to the clothes he was wearing.
Instantly my eyes widened, my jaw clenched. "Northern country's military uniform...."
"That's right. I am one of the soldiers of the North who was sent to spy on your movements. Being a student at your school is one of my missions."
I didn't realize this at all. I was too careless.
I had a lot of questions for him, but I couldn't waste any time. I have to quickly finish off the intruder.

I declared war on him personally.

With that our battle began, without further ado, Alvarado immediately gave the opening attack.

Four large symmetrical holes appeared simultaneously on the bottom, top, right, and left sides of me who was standing in the air.
From these holes, bursts of blood-red flames are very powerful.
I was still able to dodge the attack by teleporting, but it was a bit too late due to the fast attack that ended up burning my uniform a bit.
I patted my flaming uniform.
"It's an eternal flame that I took from another dimension. It can burn anything and won't go out, especially with a small clap like that."
After hearing his explanation, I immediately tore my uniform on the part that was hit.
Damn. Alvarado's strength is no joke.
Alvarado continuously attacked me with fiery bullets fired from his fingertips.
I calmly continued to dodge his barrage of attacks.
"You can't keep dodging!"
shouted Alvarado as he continued his attack.
Subconsciously, the corners of my lips lifted.
"With this last strike of mine, you will die!" Alvarado raised one hand in the sky, said,
"Clumps of solar fire."
Small wisps of fire danced on the palms of his hands, looking for partners to form bigger lumps of fire.
Now that the blob was about the size of a small sun, bursts of fire leaped up and down in the big lump.
I can't believe he has this much power, although it's still not comparable to mine.
"A piece of hellfire."
A small blue fireball appeared at my call.
"With such a small fire, what can you do?" Alvarado laughed disdainfully.
"We won't know until we try, right?"
That way, we simultaneously release each other's power.
As his wisp of fire moved, the ground shook. The blob burned and destroyed the buildings that stood in its way.
Meanwhile, my fireball flew gently without touching anything in front of it.
Our powers collide with each other. Fire against fire.
But unlike what Alvarado had imagined, my little fireball quickly devoured his huge lump of fire.
Instantly the lump was swallowed and disappeared in the belly of the little fireball.
"As much and no matter how big the sun's fire you use, it still won't beat the fire from hell even if it's only a little."
I mocked him.
Alvarado was very shaken. Cold sweat dripped profusely down his uniform.
Even his signature moves don't mean much in front of me.
"Actually who are you?" The moment he set his sights on me, I disappeared.
"Hold your questioning for a moment," I whispered in his ear.
Before he reacts, I put my palm on his back.
"Death."
Alvarado stopped moving, his eyes slowly turned white, his heart stopped beating.
With this power, Alvarado will die.
His body fell, slumped helplessly in the middle of the road.
Huh... I haven't done this in a long time.
Just as I was about to carry his body with me, a signal in my head suddenly sounded, signaling the four fools were in danger.
I have to hurry to help them.
But when I took my eyes off Alvarado for a second, his body disappeared.
He should have been dead for a moment and wouldn't be able to move.
I suspected that someone was watching our fight from afar and took Alvarado away while I was off guard.
Damn. I really wanted to interrogate Alvarado. But too bad.
Think about it later. The four of them are more important.
