An hour later,Dallas regretted sending Cyd a text first,as not only did Cyd check her message late,she also left her on read with no reply.

Feeling annoyed at herself,she threw her phone on the table ,grabbed her headphones and flopped on the bed on her own side of the room

"Is something wrong, sweetheart?"Racheal inquired noticing her roommate's annoyed behavior.

"No , nothing is wrong"Dallas answered then smirked right before adding "..mom"

In a flash, Rachel was on her bed holding her in a neck grip

"I told you not to call me that, didn't I?"

Dallas tried to squirm her way out of the stronghold to no avail,so she gave up amidst chuckles"okay...okay,okay I won't call you that anymore"

"Good"Rachel commented as she slightly relaxed her grip but then gripped it again

"You promise?"

"Yes,yes ma'am I promise"Dallas choked out and let out a sigh of relief as Rachel let go finally and then flicked her forehead

"This is why I call you mom"Dallas pointed out as she rubbed her neck soothingly

"Because I'm older than you?"Rachel asked still on Dallas's bed smirking at her

."nope"Dallas replied then added "because you act like one" with her tongue out

"Only because you act like a kid"Rachel pointed out

"But I will be 20 in a few weeks.."Dallas stated quite proud as her face lit up

Leaning down to lift her roommate's jaw up ,Rachel smiled and said "but deep down,you are still just a kid"

That seemed to have struck a nerve in Dallas that she frowned slightly with a pout

Chuckling on her way back to her bed with her in just shorts and tshirt , Rachel looked as sexy as ever to Dallas who just smirked at the thought of Rachel finding out her cute tomboy roommate found her sexy.

"I guess I'm right as alwa..-" Rachel was saying but was interrupted by Alec Benjamin's Water fountain which was Dallas's ringing tone.

Dallas grabbed it off the table for it to display the caller ID as Cyd ,Dallas smiled slightly to herself then laughed at the scene of Rachel trying to act the visual idea of the song in front of her,the smile turned into a smirk as she put down her phone and let it ring till the call died.

"Why didn't you pick up?"

"I was watching you pathetically tryto imitate my favorite artist"Dallas stated and dodged as a pillow came flying her way laughing hard

"You stupid kid..-" Once again,Rachel was interrupted by Dallas's ringing tune but this time,it was cut short as a laughing Dallas picked up and walked out the room to the bungalow that overlooked the campus

"You left my call hanging and now you pick and you are laughing"Cyd's voice boomed through the speaker

"Oh really?"Dallas asked with a smirk plastered on her face

"When I call,you pick ,Nerdy.Im a very busy person plus I'm a year older than you"

"When I text, reply or don't read it at all,i***t"Dallas retorted

"Well,well,the little nerd have learnt how to be sassy and just so you know,I was in a meeting"Cyd explained causing Dallas to laugh

"I'm not so little anymore and You? Idiotic tomboy in a Meeting? What kind?Dumbasses Association?"

"Yeah,you are definitely not little but you could use some sense"Cyd said sarcastically

"What do you want,Cyd ?"Dallas said

"Wow,so you know my name.well unlike you,I'm a real busy person so I will go straight to the point.All I want is a day to catch up and it's a bonus for you to be in my world so what do you think?Yes or No ,Nerdy?"Cys asked

" As much as I hate your tone,it would be nice to relieve high school days even if it's with a idiotic tomboy like you"Dallas replied

"Nerdy,what course you here for?

Idiocy?"Cyd asked sarcastically

"Is there even a course like that?"Dallas scoffed then added as she sighed "this is why you will remain an i***t for real".

"I would like to think that i***t means genius so yeah,thanks"Cyd stated

Dallas palmed her face before inquiring "Monday?"

"Let me check my schedule"Cyd said leaving Dallas amused ,after a few rustling sound was heard through the phone,Cyd's voice boomed through "today is Thursday,how about 4pm, Saturday?"

"You really have a schedule?Cyd?"An amused Dallas asked

"Like I said,I'm a busy person,Dallas"Cyd said making Dallas laugh for the second time that evening.

"Yeah right"Dallas commented mockingly.

"so my apartment or a restaurant?" Cys asked smirking on the other end

" ofcourse,she has an apartment" Dallas thought but just replied " A restaurant seems cool" Cyd laughed"I have a class to get to,Nerdy,talk to you later?"

"Sure,dumbass"

And the line went dead,Dallas breathed in deeply and let go with a sigh

"A storm must be brewing if the idiotic lazyass of class 19 is now a busy person."

"I can see another troublesome woman making her way into my life "she thought staring at her room where Rachel lay laughing at a something on her laptop

Chuckling to herself,Dallas made her way back into her room where Rachel was watching a movie on her laptop.

"What are you watching?"Dallas inquired

"Done with your call?"Rachel inquired right back

"But I asked you a question first"Dallas whined

"But I'm older than you"Rachel said imitating her bestfriend's whiny voice

"Fine, obviously i'm done with my call if I am here talking to you,now answer me ..mom or should I go to sleep already"Dallas said with a sigh

"Don't play smart with me Dallas and as much as I would love to tell you to go to sleep,I can't exactly watch "Wonder Woman" alone so get over here,kid"Rachel said smiling widely but Dallas was already trying to make her shift by Force,she resisted then relaxed some minutes later when Dallas made to tickle her

"Don't you dare.."

"Or what would happen?"Dallas inquired smirking

"Or this would happen" and almost immediately, Rachel started ruffling Dallas's pixie hair making Dallas shift away and raise up a hand for peace

"Ok you got yourself a deal,mom"

"Glad you see it my way ,kid"Rachel commented with a smirk

"Do not call me that please"Dallas said and her face expression set off Rachel's laughter echoing through the walls.

After the movie,they had dinner with Dallas as the chef as it was her turn,Rachel kept teasing her on how bad it tasted but then retired for the night to her own bed

"Hello"

A message popped up on Dallas's screen and it was from the one and Only Cyd Adams.
