Time To Doll Up, Girl...!

I followed the Silverlight Knight through a twisting hallway, and finally reached a door that looked like those that were being used on ships. There was a wheel that acted as a knob of some kind, and the Silverlight Knight turned it counterclockwise to unlock the door. It was a heavy-set type of door and would definitely need some dynamite charges to blow it open.

The heavy-set door opened inwards, and the Silverlight Knight just showed the way instead and guarded the entrance. "You may go ahead and choose what you wanted. There is a limit to the number of items that you can bring out. If an item keeps dropping out from our inventory, it means that you are either, unable to wield it or simply do not have the right attributes to handle it. The same goes to the armour pieces that you may find in here."

"You don't have to tell me twice, hozay...! It is a girl's thing when it comes to dressing up, looking and feeling good...! Mua Haa Haa...!!!" I thought aloud but laughed like a hyena for the last sentence as I made my way inside the armoury.

When I stepped inside, I was delighted to discover an array of equipment fit for a girl like me. Even though I was at Level 0, the items that were on display were for Level 0 to Level 5. Which means, I would easily trade the items away when I had successfully breezed through Level 5 in no time at all. What a way to level up right now...!

However, before I could pick up anything inside the armoury, I need to make some adjustments to my status. I opened up the system panel and clicked Class and changed it from Neutral to Wizard. Next, I have taken a good look at my skills attribute and discovered that there are quite a considerable amount of points that I could allocate.

For those who are new to MMORPG, attributes are physical and mental statistics for a gamer to allocate the free points as and when they upgrade. Six basic attributes made up three for mental and three for physical statistics.

For physical statistics - Strength (STR), Constitution (CON) and Dexterity (DEX); and as for mental statistics - Intelligence (INT), Wisdom (WIS) and Charisma (CHA).

Physical Statistics

Strength - measuring physical power and carrying capacity

Constitution - measuring endurance, stamina and good health

Dexterity - measuring agility, balance, coordination and reflexes

Mental Statistics

Intelligence - measuring deductive reasoning, knowledge, memory, logic and rationality

Wisdom - measuring self-awareness, common sense, restraint, perception and insight

Charisma - measuring force of personality, persuasiveness, leadership and succession planning

Playing as a Mage or Wizard in The Lord Of The Red Dragons, one needs to be higher HP as well as the ability to fast casting. This means I have to reset my attributes (once if free and will be permanent thereafter) and dump all the available points into CON, INT and WIS. There are 5 points each for the individual statistics as well as 20 free points, and it looked when I bring up the system panel.

I immediately removed 2 points away from CHA and STR which gave me 4 additional points. I then allocate 8 points each into CON, INT and WIS and I could feel an immense change in me. My physical and mental statistics now looked like this:

I received 85 reputation points for the hidden quest that I had uncovered back at the Town Hall. After I had rearranged my attributes, it is time for me to choose my Class since it would be bonded to my account forever.

I clicked on Class and chose Wizard / Mage over my present one, and I was notified once more by the system to confirm my final decision.

I clicked 'CONFIRM', and I am now a registered Wizard which gamers regard as one of the most vulnerable characters to play in this MMORPG. But let me tell you this, "YOU ARE SO DAMN f*****g WRONG...!!! Lord Of The Red Dragon...Watch Out for Za the Beast Tamer is here to wipe you off clean in any PVP environment...!!!"

I cleared the system panel away and its time for me to go shopping now in the armoury since I had established a better foundation for my gaming character.

There are 5 pieces of cloth armour for Wizards like us, and I quickly went over to the shelves and display stands and chose the colours and style that I always wanted. (Actually, Wizard's wardrobe are all standard and there is no such thing like fashionable wear for a fashionista like me.)

Some hoods were blessed with magic and energy storages. I picked a pair of vambraces and discovered that it was blessed with minor air magic, minor earth magic, minor water magic and minor fire magic.

"F U U W E E E ...!!! I had found a gem and these vambraces, even though it is quite plain-looking, but it sure is a start...!" I whistled to myself as I picked and examined its attributes before putting it aside. Most wizards o caster would need an intricate piece of staff, but for me, its wearable and I felt less cumbersome with that. I then continued to choose a pair of robes, leggings and boots, and those had blessed with Vigour, Vitae and also a minor magic and energy storages as well respectively.

"It is good enough for me to raise my hands and conjure up those skills and do speed casting while many others would be swinging their sticks around, It may look cool in the later stages, but at the meantime, it would be enough for me to have these vambraces."

I observed the equipment that I had chosen, and I discovered that it had no sockets at all for me to imbue some minerals that I might find along the way.

"Ah well, at least these pieces of armour would be enough for me to use for the time being." I thought to myself as I went into a makeshift changing room and stripped down as I changed into my new set of gear.

These new pieces of armour do not feel OP, but it is considered as rare items that could not be sourced anywhere in town...!

Once I had changed, I went over to a full-size standing mirror and discovered that I do t look too shabby myself. Once I had checked myself out, I walked outside and felt more confident than 3 hours before. Coupled with a peerage title and a personal title to my name, I could be considered as the Top Ten contender in the leaderboards. However, I would not be able to know about it since I prefer to mask my identity by cloaking it and pretending like I was an NPC.

"Watch out world. The Beast Tamer is here, and all you beasts will grovel at my feet when I summon for you. Hahaha...!"
