The Might Of A Thousand Voices

30th December 1018/2018 1815hrs "Alright...!!! Alright...!!! I didn't know that the horde has now become a bigger horde the moment we came back from our break...!!! OH MY GOSH...!!! Don't these people have a better thing to do except to join in this horde just to satisfy their curiosity? Oh, my goodness...!!! This is the same as in real life as it gets here in the virtual world too. If there is a crowd, no matter what, there would be people who would come over to find out what's happening...!!! It is just like the ants that were after spilt sugar...!!! H H H U U U A A A R R R G G G H H H ...!!!" I was bawling out to Snowball and Crusader that seemed to unable to control the crowd at the moment. Crusader and Snowball were climbing the lamp posts around the Town Square near the Town Portal and shouting to the crowd below to maintain their composure. Other members from other Guilds were at first watching, but when they discovered that there is recruitment going on, they too wanted to have a hand into it. Some were even calling out perks and benefits of joining their Guild. Some even offered discounts and others offered other perks like weapons and armours to entice those adventurers that are Level 15 and above. The whole scene looked like a fish market, and everyone was calling out their recruitments. The Silverlight Knights just walked on as if nothing happened since it was a public place and no one is doing any harm towards one another. I had also climbed one of the lamposts and seemed exasperated to see such a crowd in my life. Really...I never imagined of such an unruly crowd before, and it was a mess. A TOTAL FREAKING MESS, I TELL YOU...!!! "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE? IS THIS A FISH MARKET OR RECRUITMENT?" I heard a familiar voice from below, and a familiar figure was seen walking towards the crowd. It was our Captain Guild Leader, and she is here to save us from being trampled in this stampede of gamers...! "Yeay...our Captain Guild Leader is here to save us...Yeay...!!!" I called out in my heart and began to slide down from the lampost. So did Snowball and Crusader who followed suit. "Look, Captain Guild Leader...! The segregation for the Inner Circle Elites and Outer Circle Elites went out of control when other members from the workshop saw what was happening and wanted to have a piece of the pie too. I think there are about a few workshop leaders here. The other core members were unable to contain the crowd as well. Snowbunny, Snowball and Crusaders were up in the lamposts. They were acting like monkeys trying to control the apes here. Hahaha...!" Dragonfire and Warpriestess were laughing when they were mentioning it to our Captain Guild Leader. It seemed that we all have our own stupid and comical moments. "Alright, all of you listen up. Before I knock some senses to your own head and before any of you got into trouble, I would like to see 3 groups of people here. Core members assembled behind me please...!!!" Our Captain hollered out as she raised her wooden staff in her had as if she had the intention to smite everyone down. All the core members began to move and then stood behind our Captain Guild Leader as the whole crowd of gamers were assembled in front of us. "Thrillseeker...!!! Where are you? Go and stand one side there, along with your original members. My Goodness... all of you are like kindergarten children, do you know that...?!?!?" "The whole lot of you...YES Y O U...!! Those Level 19 and below... Stand over at that corner there now. Do so if you wish to be enrolled in this recruitment drive...!!! If not, please stand clear... Those leaders who wish to poach those gamers now, please pull them out from the crowd and go stand somewhere else...!!! Have you appointed a representative or shall I appoint one right now for you? You have one minute to clear this place...! You all are blocking the Town Portal, and no one can get in and out from there." I looked at the way our Captain Guild Leader was commanding all these gamers, as they clamoured about either on the left or right side of the Town Portal. I was awed at her commanding voice as the gamers went about to be either Inner Circle Elites or Outer Circle Elites. A Guardian Knight from the Outer Circle Elites was pushed forward, and it seemed that they had finally found a representative after all. Our core members just looked at the way the mess was cleared. Within a few commanding shouts from our Captain Guild Leader, and I was really appreciative at how the things were being managed by her. No wonder, she is capable of being our Captain Guild Leader after all... "Representatives from each side, take down the ID, Levels and Profession of those within your group and give me the figure. This recruitment drive will be closed in ten seconds and those who are being left out, please approach those leaders who are trying to poach the gamers here. If you wish to join us, please wait until you had levelled up to at least Level 15 before you could join us. At the meantime, we only take in full-time gamers. Those under casual gamers that had been gaming with us, please look for Snowbunny, Snowball and Crusader over here." "Once you had done, please find us at The Unarmed King's tavern on the ground floor dining area. We would be there once you had settled down and cleared this mess before you go...!!! With a huff, our Captain Guild Leader left and walked towards The Unarmed King as the two representatives got busy to take down the statistics that I need. "So this is what they mean by not having two lionesses on a mountain top. One has still been a Leader despite the hurdles that one faces." I snickered when I thought back on how the gamers were surprised when our Captain Guild Leader hollered at them. "Say, Captain Guild Leader... How come your voice suddenly became amplified, eh? These gamers really thought that they had been screamed down on their heads...!" Snowball asked since he had never expected our Captain Guild Leader to have such a commanding voice before. Everyone else thought that it would sound very feminine instead. "Here, I used this scroll. You would be needing this scroll since it would be an ACTIVE spell to cast. It's called The Might Of A Thousand Voices. This is to amplify one's voice. You can use it to chant a rallying or a defensive shout to our allies to protect them from a rain of arrows. It would also be used to move to another location at 33% of your current speed." Snowball took the scroll from our Captain Guild Leader. After some moments, we discovered the reason why she needs to have all the scrolls and tomes in the first place to be kept inside the Votrieburg City Storage. At least our Captain Guild Leader knows how to use these scrolls at its best possible moment and to emphasise on its use at maximum capacity. I would like to have the scroll on The Might Of A Thousand Voices because there might be some chants and shouts that I could use to enhance the party members. As you can see, a shout can be used to protect the allies from raining arrows or move them to another location at an additional 33% of the current speed. It could also be used to strike fear into the hearts of the enemies, petrify them on the spot or bring down to their knees. The ones that would use them for the whole party would be the MT and Guardian Knight. I walked along with the core members as Tinkerbell soon joined us from the Crafting Avenue. It seems that Tinkerbell was busy for the past 1-2 days. She had been in the Crafting Avenue and had prepared some of the things reuired by our Captain Guild Leader. She had brought along the items that would need to be reviewed by our Captain Guild Leader as well. Tinkerbell was carrying a satchel bag across the shoulders which she never usually would do and was delighted when she met with our Captain Guild Leader. From the bulge of the satchel bag, it seemed that Tinkerbell quite a few new items to show as well. "Hey, Tinkie, what have you got there? How have you been and it seems that you had been busy since we logged in, don't you think? What's in the bag?" Snowball came close to Tinkerbell and held her arm in the crook of his hands. "Later, Snowie...I will let our Captain Guild Leader take a look at this and then she will evaluate. There are four things inside this bag, and it is going to be one of the most vital things anyone could lay the hands on them. Very soon, we had reached The Unarmed King's tavern, and we booked a private dining room since our Captain Guild Leader wanted to have a say with us. "Alright guys, take a seat first and order some dinner, or maybe you would like to have a round of drinks?" our Captain Guild Leader mentioned as she sat down at the head of the table. She waited patiently for the rest of them to enter and make themselves as comfortable as possible.
