Failure Is The Way Towards Success

30th December 1018/2018 1500hrs "Alright, Thrillseeker. I find the idea of the membership fees to be quite affordable. It's something that you could achieve if you had not spent your credits lavishly." I said to Thrillseeker that wanted to be as part of the Inner Circle Elites. "One more thing, the Inner Circle Elites and Outer Circle Elites would have a representative to lead the two groups. Whatever it is, the chain of command would be from the core members who would be getting the instructions from me. Is that understood?" I stressed out the intention of this since I would not want them to go awry and be making their own decisions based on their preferences. "Anything else in the future from this day forth would be discussed directly with me and would not be handled by each representative. The membership fees of 10,000 credits are non-refundable, and the contract that I had given to you is just a sample. I would need to have a separate binding contract for members of the Inner Circle Elites and Outer Circle Elites, is that understood?" Thrillseeker was thrilled when she heard about it. The most important matter was to be a part of the Silent Knight Guild, and she believed that whatever task they partake, it would be beneficial to her members. The only thing is that the Outer Circle Elites would have to appoint their own representative or so-called OCE Leader. "I have to set the ground rules. Members of Inner Circle Elites would be from Level 20 upwards, and while the Members of the Outer Circle Elites would be from Level 15 onwards. For those who are lower level but have the interest to join the Outer Circle Elites, please do level-up in the common grinding spots. At the meantime, once you had levelled up to Level 15, you may join the Outer Circle Elite. "Excuse me, Captain Guild Leader. If members from the Outer Circle Elites had surpassed Level 20, do they upgrade themselves into Inner Circle Elites instead?" Thrillseeker raised the question, and I cannot help but notice that she was having some trouble handling her Shield that was a bit cumbersome for her. I was thinking of the copper Shield that I had forged earlier, and I knew who would be the ones getting them once it had been successfully moulded with the right attributes. "The members remained where they are. This decision is set so we would be able to see who would be in Inner Circle Elites and those in Outer Circle Elites. Once we had made the segregation, we would also be able to pounce on the opportunity on what we should be doing. During any meetings when I called for one, you, the core members of Silent Knight Guild, along with the new representative of the Outer Circle Elites would be attending it. In this case, we would have decimated the message across more effectively. Would that be an issue for you, Thrillseeker?" I looked on, and there seemed to have no issues with Thrillseeker. So for now, it would be time for both groups from Inner Circle Elites and Outer Circle Elites to gather their own members before we decide who is on which side. All this while I had been thinking that and when such opportunities come knocking, I could not afford to let it go. Credits are the main backbone for Silent Knight Guild...! "Hope you understand the chain of commands that would follow since I would be delegating certain instructions for the core members. They would then hand over the specific instructions to the representatives of Inner Circle Elites and Outer Circle Elites. So right now, could the Outer Circle Elites formed up and get yourself registered and appoint someone as your leader. I can't be here all day, and I have other important matters to do. You would know it when the time comes, alright?" I motioned for the other Outer Circle Elite to organise themselves and decide on the spot who would be in their circle or not. There is no point to be haggling and making decisions for them since everyone there had heard what transpired and I really mean business. My molten copper that had been poured inside the moulds would be ready by now. All I need to do is to knock them out from their Shield's cast, and the system would be able to evaluate the pieces as well as the attributes. "Snowbunny, you be in charge along with Snowball and Crusader to fix this matters straight. I am heading back to Crafter's Avenue. I would be gone again for 2 hours and be right back here and assemble with the core members and the representatives for both the Inner and Outer Circle Elites. Is that understood? Once you had done so, all team mine for copper ores. We need to accumulate tons of it at this moment." I stressed the fact and everyone agreed with my decisions. Right after I had made the decisions, I walked back to the Crafter's Avenue and paid for the extra time and the moulds that I had received much earlier. "Been working hard at it, Baroness? I am sure those pieces that you had forged would be as effective and significant to your cause. I had noticed that you had improved considerably, Baroness. Well done. Please, proceed for your fine workmanship." The proprietor announced to me as soon as I had paid up for the excess time at the Apprentice Armourshmith Room. Somehow, these NPC proprietors were able to detect and evaluate my progress. Seemed they have a knack of doing so. I entered the Armoursmithing Room and checked that the 3 moulds that I had poured the molten copper had solidified and would be ready for my next course of action. I took off my robe and hung it aside as I worked the furnace once more to melt the contents of the copper ingots inside the smelter pot. After some time, I had poured the last mould that would be shaped into the 4th Shield. "Well, its time for the truth...I hope to get more attributes from the first and subsequently to the fourth Shield." I spoke to myself since there was no one else in the room. I went to the 1st mould, and after ensuring that it was cool to touch, I knocked the Shield out from its cast. *B B A A M M* *K K L L A A N N G G* The first Shield came out from the mould and even before I could shape the edges and making the unique markings to the tower shield. I could feel the weight was quite comparable to the leather-bound kite shield that Snowbunny wields. *D I N G* "You had failed to forge Storm Tower Copper Shield." "Weight: 8 kg." "Durability: 220 points." "Physical Attack Value: 35" "Strength: 10" "Damage Reduction Physical: 35, Magic: 10, Fire: 15, Lightning: 15" "Damn...this first Shield had nearly the same attributes as the one wielded by Snowball. It was made of bronze material, and it seemed that this Shield would not be able to value higher than what Snowball had. I would just place it within my inventory then." I thought to myself as I slipped the Storm Tower Copper Shield into my inventory and was thinking that it would be nice to display it when the Guild had been completed the next day. I shook out the second Shield, and it had slightly better attributes but failed in its process to make a better one than the first. *D I N G* "You had failed to forge Storm Tower Copper Shield." "Weight: 8 kg." "Durability: 240 points." "Physical Attack Value: 45" "Strength: 15" "Damage Reduction Physical: 55, Magic: 20, Fire: 35, Lightning: 35" Another failure...!!! But the attributes was much better than the second one though. I checked through the Storm Tower Copper Shield statistics and found out that it would be better to let it sit in the inventory once again. One more Shield for me to find out whether it failed or not and this would replace the Shield that Snowball is wielding at this moment. Besides, the Shield is none tradeable and would only be used by one user. Currently, Snowball was using the Hailstorm Copper Wall Shield, and this Shield would be better than the former one. *D I N G* "You had failed to forge Storm Tower Copper Shield." "Weight: 8 kg." "Durability: 300 points." "Physical Attack Value: 55" "Strength: 25" "Damage Reduction Physical: 65, Magic: 35, Fire: 45, Lightning: 45" I had a made yet another failed product, but this product was one of the best ever. It had better durability among the rest, higher physical attack value and strength. On top of that, the damage reduction against physical, magic, fire and lightning was also the highest. "Well, how about letting this Shield sits in the inventory as well or see if Snowball wanted to have this or not. If he does, then his current Hailstorm would be handed over to Snowbunny that uses the old leather-bound kite shield." I packed everything up and then checked that I had 5 more ingots to spare. It would be great if I continue to smith those copper ores after I had a rest in the real world. After that, I would go and gather as much copper ingots I could possibly do before I proceed to make more failed products. Hahahaha. The time was already close to 1800hrs, and it would be time for me to find out the progress for the membership for the Inner Circle Elites as well as the Outer Circle Elites. After storing all the 4 Shields inside my inventory, I walked out from the Crafting Avenue, and towards the Town Square where the crowd was not thinning but had progressively grown in size...!
