30th December 1018/2018 1415hrs "Hello, Captain Guild Leader. You managed to come on time or else people would be throwing their credits on the floor just to get inside our Guild and be a member. There...There...the female MT, Captain Guild Leader. She who calls herself Thrillseeker and she's the leader of her own band of adventurers. She's the one who wanted to form ICE - Inner Circle Elites within Silent Knight Guild and I was wondering if there's such a thing right now...! Captain Guild Leader...!!! Recruitment into ICE is 10,000 credits, and Thrillseeker was saying that the money goes into our resources...!!!" I was hollering out as I got on some wooden crates trying to be on top of everyone as I called out to our Captain Guild Leader. I waved at her frantically the moment I caught a glimpse of her robe and wooden staff that she was holding. I looked comical as if I had not seen our Captain Guild Leader and yup, I owe her quite a bit since she passed me the credits to travel across Ascon over to Votrieburg. If not for her, I would be a lone wolf forever and be fishing and grilling the fishes I had caught to become health supplements. "Uh...Hello there, Captain Guild Leader. My name is Thrillseeker, and I am an MT, and I hail all the way from Qeplos where the Bug and Plants Lore grew in abundance. I overheard about Workshop Silverbane from there, and I was curious. So I brought with me 3 sets of Classes each as I wished to have my team and myself to be part of Silent Knights Guild. Any problem there?" I was looking at our Captain Guild Leader who was standing there when she walked up to us midway, and I knew that she had something nasty to say since she seemed not to be in the mood. After some moments, she walked forward and addressed the whole horde of gamers. Those gamers were a mix of lower levelled players from 10 to 15. They were not affiliated with Thrillseekers but were there since they thought that our Captain Guild Leader was part of a cut scene or something. "Good day, Thrillseekers. I know about Qeplos, and it seemed that you had picked the wrong city to start with. So, you had heard of Workshop Silverbane, am I right? Its a Lifestyle workshop that we wish to set up that would comprise of mining, fishing, drapery, tannery, gem crafting, enhancers, the works. Both you and I should know well by now, right?" Our Captain Guild Leader was very composed when she addressed Thrillseeker and the rest of the members. "It seemed that you wished to be part of our Guild and therefore wanted to organise a branch called ICE - Inner Circle Elite, am I right? You wished to do that even without going through the hassle of acquiring both a peerage title, land, reputation points as well as credits, am I right? Why would you do it without conforming with me and also collect membership fees of 10,000 from gamers? Our core members do not collect such, and we are still sifting through the casual and hard-core gamers as well." Our Captain Guild Leader spoke slowly, her voice travelled across the group of gamers that had gathered there. Everyone was listening and comprehending every single word as she delivered her statement. I was simply awed that our Captain Guild Leader was able to command such a large group of gamers. Her words seemed clear and crisp, and everyone understood it once it had been delivered. "Yes, Captain Guild Leader of Silent Knight Guild. You had guessed my intention very well. It would be a branch of ICE and OCE, the Inner Circle Elites and the Outer Circle Elites. In this manner, we would be able to collaborate with one another and be a much stronger Guilders when compared to other Guilds that would mushroom around the cities. Don't you think so? I would be riding on your prestige, and the membership fees that I collect would wholly belong to Silent Knight Guild. I just wished to have a branch from the original Guild so that we would be heading towards our main course." Thrillseeker voiced out her thoughts to our Captain Guild Leader. I thought that it would be a good idea, but decisions such as this would not be able to be concluded on the spot. I am sure that our Captain Guild Leader has something up her sleeves and would conclude the decisions at a much later stage. "In this case, I could not decide on such prompt notice. If you wish, gather your core members, and we could discuss this. This includes the OCE - Outer Circle Elites. How much are you proposing for the Outer Circle Elites, and what are their criteria?" I saw Captain Guild Leader had already switched on her system recorder to get everything down in evidence. I nudged Snowball and asked, "Do you think this will work, eh? We are under our Captain Guild Leader, and the others would be under this Thrillseeker?" Snowball looked at me and answered," I don't know man, it is so confusing now. We might not even know how to differentiate who is from which branch but all we know that they would be under the umbrella of Silent Knight Guild." "The methodology is easy to comprehend. To be in ICE - Inner Circle Elites, one has to be at least Level 18 and above and are full-time gamers. Those who wished to join and are Level 17 and below, falls under OCE - the Outer Circle Elites. Please do not waste time on casual adventurers anymore Captain Guild Leader. You would have more work on your hands, and I am sure that the core members of yours would also agree with my findings. OCE - the Outer Circle Elites would only need to pay the same 10,000 credits as well. In this way, you would be able to differentiate those WHO WOULD BE LOYAL TO OUR CAUSE." "To be a Guild with a strong foresight, you need to have a strong foundation of full-time gamers as well as a strong financial background, don't you think so?" We all waited at the sidelines and had no wish to interfere in their dealings, and I find that Thrillseeker was mentioning was true. "There will be one Captain Guild Leader, and there would only be 8 core members before me. If you are willing to accept, then I will send an invite to you to be part of the Guild. This is only temporary, and it would be permanent once you had signed the binding contract. There are some rules there and what you need is to ask me if you are unsure. Here is the sample binding contract, open your trade communicator, and I will send it to you now." It seemed that we may have reached an ultimatum and 10,000 credits per members would be welcomed by the Guild. I wondered how many members are willing to part with their hard-earned credits. The sample contract had been sent over to the other party, and they were reading it intently, both the ICE and OCE members. I saw Captain Guild Leader raised her arm as she called out to the core members to come forth and gather among her. I am the first one to jump down from the stack of crates as I ran forward with the rest of them. If no one had known what had transpired, they might be thinking that there would be a showdown soon. I moved towards Captain Guild Leader and asked what she thinks of all this, and she gave me her sweetest smile - the same smile that she had given me when I delivered the packets of A-Class and S-Class nutrients to her home. "10,000 credits from each member of ICE and OCE. It seems rather spendthrift as though our Guild would stand out for credits and pay2win gamers instead, don't you think so, Captain Guild Leader?" I asked since I do have slightly more than 10,000 credits after we had sold all the unwanted pieces of weapons and armours. We also had turned all the topaz and white zirconia that had not much use into credits as well. Besides, we have more than enough credits after we beat the Bosses of The Wintry Hills and The Bellowing Slopes countless of times. Each time, it would drop a similar amount of spoils, especially credits. Furthermore, if I do have more than 10,000 credits in my ingame account, then the rest of the core members would have the same amount as me since we had split the credits among us equally. "10,000 credits is somewhat achievable, don't you think? I am sure that you all have 10,000 credits with you right now. 10,000 credits today would only be like $2500 which would be equivalent to 2 months of part-time pay, am I right? You would need at least $4000 more or 16,000 credits more to get the gaming capsule, which would be lower cost than I mentioned." We were surprised, and I asked if it would be true if the gaming capsule would be lower in costs in the future. Besides, having a gaming capsule would add another 15% of combat effectiveness. It would not be tiresome if we spend hours compared to a VR Gaming headset on a gaming chair instead. "Yup, that's true. In the meantime, I am agreeing to the 10,000 credits membership fees for members who would be joining as Inner Circle Elite or Outer Circle Elite. What do you guys think?" Captain Guild Leader highlighted to us, and after some consideration, we decided that it would be beneficial for the foundation for Silent Knight Guild after all. I cannot disagree with our Captain Guild Leader, and it seemed that some ground rules would be set down as well.
