26th December 1018 / 2018 0715hrs "Did you guys just saw that? FUCK...! 5000 credits just splurged to get storage spaces? What does she think she is? A moving company, or what? So much storage spaces for what? "And some more, just look at the way she dressed up. She may be a Mage or Wizard or something, but she doesn't even carry a staff...! All she had was that pair of gauntlets or something which I think overall, does not even give proper protection...!" "This type of gamer or NPC or whatever you guys may call, she is really a glass cannon. Deals a lot of damage but also receives a lot of damage too. She basically needs a healer just to be by her side to keep healing her as she bombards the enemies. What do you think of it, guys?" One of the gamers that had snuck closely to observe noticed that I had purchased 5 storage warehouse to store all those non-tradeable items that I find in this country. Besides, I cannot be lugging around those items with me since I am farming and at the same time doing trading to increase my resources. If you think BIG, then have to act BIG as well. =*= "Good day, kind merchant. How much is it for a teleportation scroll? I do not wish to have a town scroll yet since I would not be travelling around the towns too soon." I greeted the merchant that was tending the General Merchandise stall as he greeted back. The gamers who were observing me closeby snuck even closer. There was even one that went to the stall to pick something up. I knew that the gamer was pretending to take an interest in the item, but in fact, trying to find out more about me...! "Ah yes, Beast Tamer. We have town scrolls and teleportation scrolls. Do you wish to set up a portal so that it would make you travel easier? It costs only 1500 credits, and you do not need any additional scrolls but just these two stones." I remembered that I had lots of these stones that I lost count of its uses and destination because I was too lazy to label them...!!! I am not going to repeat the same mistake, so I better remember to label them since I would not be the one to use them as I would be getting Lifestyle gamers into the workshop as well. This MMORPG - The Lord Of The Red Dragon would not be as fun if there would be no Lifestyle gamers to support the Adventurers. "It is a done deal, kind merchant. Here you go, 1500 credits for the portal. Once I destroy it, there would not be a refund, am I right?" those gamers who were eavesdropping, nearly popped their eyes out from their sockets...! First its 5000 credits and now its 1500 credits. "Is this girl loaded up to her cleavage or what?!?!" One of the gamers nearly blurted out when he saw the exchange of credits between the merchant and me. Upon receiving the credits, I was given the two stones. One was to be set as a fixed portal and one as a teleportation device. This device would enable me to teleport as many as a dozen gamers at one time...! How convenient. No wonder that period when I was gaming this in future, I had a bunch of these dangling at my waist...! From the corner of my eyes, I noticed that the gamers were all astounded as I had quite a considerable amount of credits in my possession. One thing that made them speculated was that I was a pay2win type of gamer, which was not true indeed. If I were a pay2win gamer, I would have done that in the beginning. Since I had time travelled back to the past, there are things that I need to amend. At present, my mining skills had reached Level 6, whereby each level needs 10,000 accomplishments to level up. That means I would still be unable to mine for iron ores. I should reach Level 10 to be able to mine for those iron ores. However, in this MMORPG - The Lord Of The Red Dragon, one needs to be able to reach Level 10 in Blacksmithing and Forging Bronze equipment before one could gather iron ores next...! The complexity of this MMORPG really entices gamers to hold on to their accounts and play regularly, while gamers like me would be farming for credits...! Next trip - to meet Archmage Maelstorm and to hand him the ice crystals that I had gathered to free up some space...! =*= "Good morrow, Archmage Maelstorm. Here is the first batch of crystals that you require for me to qualify as a student." I had passed him the exact 1000 pieces of ice crystal and had kept the rest of them for my own personal use later. It would be revealed when the time comes on why I would be hoarding the rest of the crystals. "Oh, Beast Tamer. Please do come in. Thank you for your speedy progress, and I am sure you would be heading out to get those fire crystals, am I right?" "That is right, Your Excellency, Archmage Maelstorm. I would be heading out there once I had made a portal for easy access. I am sure that you would be needing those crystals shortly, am I right?" "Hmm, that's a good prediction, Beast Tamer. I may not need it now, but I need them later on. So, thank you for the ice crystals, and once you acquire the fire crystals, please hurry back to complete your sub-quest." "Thank you too, Your Excellency, Archmage Maelstorm. Let me finish up the rest of the business, and then I would be back here once I had completed them, yes?" Magistrate / Archmage Maelstorm nodded his head and gestured his hands towards the door, which I exit immediately. Once I had stepped out from the Magistrate's Office, I went down the lane and looked for the tavern for most of the gamers to rest and relax and chugged a few ales et cetera. =*= After walking some minutes around the town square, I discovered that the gamers that were spying on me did not give up the chase at all. Since they were prevented from entering the Magistrate's Office, they loitered around the place, and when the gamers caught sight of me, they began their stalk once again. "These boys really got nothing better to do, issit? They see a beautiful *ahem* girl walking around and started to stalk and ask if I am available to join their party or whatsoever. Bah...! I don't have time for all these slackers...!" I thought to myself as I made a beeline towards a tavern called 'The Unarmed King'. It was a four-storey building where the first floor was a pub, and the dining area would be on the second floor. There would be some Silverlight Knights guarding the access to the rooms on the third and fourth floor and the prices to stay there, at this moment is quite affordable. It would cost a mere 300 credits to get room to rest and recover, but the recovery rate for an injured gamer would be miniscule. A recovery room in a guild would be most advantageous since a gamer would be able to get some buffs for a certain period of gaming time too...!!! There is an advantage of getting a room at the tavern. In case of game disruption, the gamer would appear inside the room upon the next login. It would be like an assurance. If a gamer happens to be outdoors in the wilderness, the gamer might respawn many miles away from the location after a server refresh. This had happened to me, and I had learnt my lesson well, but not to the rest of a few thousand gamers right now. When the gamers who were stalking me saw me forked out another 300 credits for a room, they had a wild thought inside their heads. "Are you sure this girl is an NPC? No doubt she has a lot of credits, and I am sure that she might also be one of the pay2win gamers, am I right?" "Yeah, I think so too. Why don't you guys ask her about it? It doesn't hurt to try, am I right?" The gamers were jostling with one another like school kids who wanted to push someone forward to make the first move with a girl...! "How childish...!" I thought to myself as I proceeded upstairs and entered my room to log off.
