The Phoenix Delves @ Hamcona Timberland Forest

26th December 1018 / 2018 1530hrs I finally unmasked my ID, and to everyone surprise, they discovered that I was Level 0 Wizard, and I am considered as worse than they had ever imagined. The other wizard, MageHunter, was so baffled that he rolled on the floor and laughed his head off when he thought that I was a Level 5 or higher than the rest of the members. Tinkerbell was the most shocked since she believed what I had said regards to the workshop, Lifestyle gamers and other types of information, and when she saw my Competency Level, she was mum beyond words. "Oh, Holy Freakin' J C...! You are only Level 0, and yet you talk as if you had the most experience than the rest of us. You wanted to go and organise a party raid, but yet you cannot even assemble your own members... What the hell are you doing for the past 12 hours? Watching others getting killed in the fields so you would be able to salvage whatever they drop?" one of the members pointed out the fact but somehow did not probe further into my gear and so on since it looked rather plain and simple. Who would have thought that the set of equipment that I got from the armoury was better than what the other members were wearing...! "Look at your piece of stick...! Our Necromancer, Wizard and Healer all had better-looking staff than you. I think you might have gotten it from the coastline because it looked pretty much like driftwood...! Hahaha...!" One of the members highlighted, and he laughed his head off too. The two female Ranger and Healer cannot help but look at me with pathetic looks. All of them had never expected that the person who had the loudest mouth was only a Level 0 Wizard and it was as if it looked that I had just gotten on the game. After the rest of the members had laughed so hard that they were simply in stitches, I cleared my throat as I pointed to them out something which made them look at me googly-eyed. "USE INSPECT TO CHECK MY STATS AND THE STAFF I AM CARRYING," I suggested to them, but none of them was able to identify the staff that had been given to me by Archmage Maelstorm. However, Snowball was able to read something that made him reel back and wished he could swallow his words back. Two words - B E A S T T A M E R and B A R O N E S S ...!!! No one in these lands owns a title or even a peerage at this moment...! I was the first, and when I unmasked my ID, a system announcement rang out throughout the country three times in succession. "Congratulations to Gamer Za for successfully completing a hidden quest called 'Catching The Wolf By Its Ears'. A title earned: Beast Tamer. Peerage: Baroness. Reputation Points: 85. Credits Rewarded: 1500 credits. Congratulations to Baroness Za for completing the sub-quest by Archmage Maelstorm. Rewards Earned: Blazefury - Greatstaff of Shifting Sands of +200 points attributes across the board for 72 hours." "Congratulations to Gamer Za for successfully completing a hidden quest called 'Catching The Wolf By Its Ears'. A title earned: Beast Tamer. Peerage: Baroness. Reputation Points: 85. Credits Rewarded: 1500 credits. Congratulations to Baroness Za for completing the sub-quest by Archmage Maelstorm. Rewards Earned: Blazefury - Greatstaff of Shifting Sands of +200 points attributes across the board for 72 hours." That was what it exactly said. The system announcement sounded for three consecutive times. Everyone in the country would be able to hear what the commotion were all about. Everyone was now looking for Baroness / Gamer Za and wanted to see how I look like and to see if I would be available to be recruited or not into their workshop. A Baroness... this is only the first day, and someone was able to earn a peerage title some more...! After the 3 consecutive announcements blared across the country, everyone in front of me was simply out of words. They never thought that the Level 0 Wizard before them could earn a title of Baroness and in this MMORPG platform, gamers who had achieved such peerage would be considered as a boon. This was because having a peerage title enabled them to purchase lands for business, residential or even a 3rd grade Guild Hall. The higher the peerage, the more lands and prestigious it would be, and a gamer could even have a 1st grade Guild Hall with all the marvellous facilities in them. "Bu...Bu...But you are only at Level 0? Did you level down or not able to level up? I really cannot think of a suitable answer for my questions right now." one of the members spoke up and felt rather stupendous on what had happened before their very eyes. "Yes, no doubt I was on Level 0 because I do not grind any monsters at all since I logged on earlier. I am not unlike other players since I look for hidden quests and go to party raids instead of grinding for monsters for one or two credit drops plus all those garbage pieces of armour and weapons." "I guessed if you pooled your credits together, I think it would not be more than 1000 credits, am I right? This excludes Tinkerbell which I had spent 250 credits to purchase her grilled prawns earlier." Hearing me spend 250 credits helping other Lifestyle gamers to earn their keep without batting an eyelid proves myself to them that I am indeed a BETA TESTER that knew all the loopholes inside this MMORPG platform. A BETA TESTER that could carry them to level up faster and reap more rewards in earning more credits and getting better armour and weapons. "So, am I in or not? Or would I say...shall I lead this team of yours to victory instead? Who is in, eh?" I voiced out and pushed aside sentiments. I knew a man would not let a lady lead a team, but in this case, the lady would be the one that would be at their most advantage. "Remember, the equipment is not that important. The most important in dungeon diving is cooperation, leadership and finding the right timing to attack the boss. On top of that, to listen to M Y instructions." The rest of the members all looked around for Snowball who called he shots before. He was looking at Tinkerbell, and it seemed that he was coaxed on by Tinkerbell to give it a chance. "Alright, let me give a vote of confidence. We would head down to The Phoenix Delves at Hamcona Timberland Forest and register ourselves as a workshop. We would go into a dungeon, and if it involved a team wipe, then we have to say sorry to you, Za. If you bring us to victory with 50% of the members intact, then we will consider it." Snowball indicated to me, and I have no other choice but to make a counteroffer. "How about this, I bring everyone in and everyone out with 0% losses. I will indicate what loot I would be taking, and then you may take the rest. I would take anything archaic like runes, recipes and gemstones, and the rest of the drops, you can roll among yourselves. You all will listen to what I say, the formation that I would be forming inside the dungeons and also the moves that you would be required to make. Understood?" When I announced that, I cannot help myself reminiscing the part where I was the Guild CEO and was leading Silent Thunder, the guild that was most feared by our nemesis. The rest of them looked at me with wild looks since I am giving something that they were unexpecting. A 0% loss in dungeon diving and loot that does not concern them too much was of value to me. They must be thinking that this Level 0 Wizard before them was a nutcase after all. "Let us head to town first. I need to purchase some supplies." Knowing that I am going to carry members into a dungeon, I need to stock up health and mana points plus some secret additions. These guys would be in for a surprise since we would be going to head for the most bountiful spoils of war that they ever set their eyes on. Furthermore, inside the dungeon, there would be a bronze chest that had some pieces of armour and weapon. Once that dungeon had been cleared, it would be reset by the system for 24 hours. When the members of the party heard that we would be going back to the city to get some things, they packed and got ready to leave. The catch was handed to Tinkerbell, and she would be responsible for grilling it later.
