29th December 1018 / 2018 0410hrs "Guild Leader, have you gotten any news from SnowBunny and the party? They were somehow uncontactable for the past hour, and I have an ominous feeling that something might have happened to them. Could you try to contact them since I am unable to reach them right till now?" Tinkerbell came and greeted me as she gave me the report and handed me a sheet that contained the names of the core members. It was a list that she had compiled that had contributed to me since I had requested for an injection of funds. "Here you go, Tinkerbell. Store this into the Votrieburg City Storage immediately. These cost us a bomb, and I am now -8,000 credits, and I owe it all to the guys. Could you do us another favour, Tinkerbell? Could you blast an announcement in the forum that we need a Blacksmith and an Armoursmith since we would be getting them ready during the launch of our Guild? We have the Beginner Skill Books, and we would be working towards getting more resources back into our savings here. Thank you so much, Tinkerbell." "Oh, it is just a small thing. Let me blast the announcement first, and then I would be sending these two books back to the Votrieburg City Storage. Once I am done, I will come back here at this temporary workshop and meeting point." I watched her back disappeared as she went about the tasks that I had sent her. I checked my system and discovered that SnowBunny was still online, and there was nothing to worry for me. In fact, I already knew what had happened once he had never responded to the communicator that Tinkerbell had sent. But the incident does not happen now, but it did happen in a few months in the future. "Hey, SnowBunny...having fun teaching the children how to hop and skip in the snow, issit? Come back here at the meeting point to meet me as I would need to have a full report from you. Do you and the rest of the guys have any Red Names above your heads? Did any of the party member got injured or is currently heavily injured in some way?" I sent the message over, and it beeped, indicating that the note had been read. A few seconds later, my communicator rang, and I answered. "Yes, SnowBunny. What can I do for you at this time of year?" "Captain...We were being ambushed. 12 RedBandits had been terminated and been pushed into non-existence. We are on the way back here, but due to the number of armours and weapons, we would be there in an hour. Advise us what to do with this loot later on, yeah?" "Hoy...should be no problem. I am sure you are now feeling cumbersome with the weight of the armour and weapons with you right now. Nevermind, we will wait for you here. As long as you can make it here without any problems, then it should be no problem for me. Contact me if you need a backup. The rest of the core members are coming back pretty soon too, at the break of dawn. Once they are back here, we can see what kind of special items that you may pass to me. You know what I need at this moment, right?" I spoke on the communicator and was quickly replied by SnowBunny, and soon we ended our chat. Yeah, its the beginning of things but I can't get my old sentiments to get in my way of achieving the things that I need to attain first. I checked with the rest of the core members and confirmed that they would be returning to the meeting point to offload the spare weapons and armour pieces that they had acquired. They too were having some trouble bringing back the items as their spatial storage space was filled up. Well, it is better than nothing since most of the armour and weapon they had brought back was good for any adventurers from Level 0 to Level 10 to use. At least we can set up a common stall in the centre of the town square and sell off those pieces we don't need for credits. Besides, these weapons and armour pieces could not be broken down or dismantled so it would be best to be sold as-is. Furthermore, it is not a time when one would bring their weapons or armour for repairs. It would be from Level 30 onwards, and right now, I am sure that the levelling up from Level 21 onwards would be minuscule at this moment. Tinkerbell had come back from her task and reported that the skill books that I had bought were now secure inside the Votrieburg City Storage. She informed me that she had blasted the forums looking for interested Blacksmith and Armoursmith. Furthermore, it would take another day for the binding contracts to be prepared since there was nothing else to do, I opened up my inventory panel and took out the ice and fire crystals that had been fused by Archmage Maelstorm earlier. "INSPECT" I checked both the ice and fire crystals and discovered that the pieces would be able to enhance the staff that I was wielding at the moment. Right now it would only give a +15 damage as a whole rounder, but with the added sockets, it would give me an additional +15 for both frost and fire bolts. This adds up to +30. If I add more points to INT and WIS, I am sure to gain more from those enhancements. But... I need to get hold of the core members first since there is a need for me to discuss their secondary professions. I am sure by now, SnowBunny would have no problem to choose his secondary profession once he had hit Level 20. But with the current levelling with the newcomers, I am sure he would hit a snag and would go and grind by himself until he reaches Level 20. But I am too on a low level like SnowBunny. Would it be great to level up together? Gosh... I have to drive those sentimental thoughts away since I am here on a mission. Satisfied with the performance of the ice and fire crystals that had been fused by Archmage Maelstorm, I kept the crystals back in my storage. I had been itching to go and Level Up, however, I need to go for a cavity press. This procedure would reset me back to Level 0, but leaving all the attributes and allocated points untouched. This procedure would cost 10,000 credits for those below Level 20. This procedure was done by me once after I had read through in the forums, but it costs 50,000 credits as I was Level 30+ before. Right now the secret is safe with me so I would do it once I had to grind enough resources to trade with the NPC merchants. But first, I would need to return the 8,000 credits I owed to the core members. "Captain, this is the report for the casual Lifestyle gamers that had come to farm for resources. They had given the semi-precious stones to us and here is the complete list that you require. The top contributors are those who had handed the resources to us without asking anything back. They had gained from the semi-precious stones that they could sell for credits with the NPC merchants. This leaves only the masonry that they too had given us for free for the expansion of our Guild. The Lifestyle gamers had given us those eels and codfish to us since their competency levels are too low to be grilling them." Tinkerbell handed me the statistic reports for the following Lifestyle gamers, and I find it to be very comprehensive and detailed. I guessed Tinkerbell had the knack to do things this way since she was the key person in Twilight Trading. Well, everything is as planned, and all we have to do is to wait for the completion of the Guild Hall on New Year's Eve. The Mages at the Archmage Towers would be completing the binding contract for the core members and those Lifestyle gamers that would be on a full-time basis at least 8 hours a day. "At least it would be better than nothing. This game had been online since Christmas Eve, and we would be facing a lot of challenges in the future." I thought to myself as I reminiscence back the memories of the 2 years that I had been on the MMORPG platform. I was browsing through the list of Lifestyle gamers as Tinkerbell had separated those casual ones when I heard the core members calling for me. They had returned, and they were hauling those weapons and armour just like they had plundered a village...! There was even a hand cart that someone had found along the way for their convenience...!!! "My God...! You think we are going to open a bazaar or something, eh? So many weapons and pieces of armour that you all managed to harvest? My Goodness...! It is better than I had expected...!!!"
