Secondary Professions

"Yo...Captain...! Is this a kind of trap or a test for me, eh? The moment I entered this City, you had assigned me to organise a raid party, and I did so upon your commands. When we were on the way here, we were being stopped by RedBandits. They were pleading to us to spam-kill them back to Level 0 within a time limit of 30 minutes. We said we don't want to because red names over our head don't make us too sexy and so we decided to leave. They threw themselves at our feet and held on to my firepoker, as what you like to call it. They started to poke themselves with our weapons. We tried to stop them, but they were throwing themselves at us. So, in the end, we got no other choices but to take their lives 15 times each and lastly, their bodies just lay there on the ground and stopped respawning. They had this dome they had cast, and everyone inside cannot escape. Die and respawn in the same spot. They were left in their undies when they reached Level 0, and someone from the party here also wished to strip them naked just to find out how much the undies would fetch in the black market. Hahahaha....!!!!!!!"

I was out of breath, and when I finished the last sentence, everyone rolled on the ground and were clutching their stomachs as they laugh uncontrollably. It was the craziest talk anyone had heard, and it came from a guest gamer that I had invited over earlier. I too laughed so loud that I was gesticulating to ShadowBunny with my staff since he had made us laugh like crazy.

After the crazy laughter had died off, its time to get serious. "Hey guys, thank you so much for your injection of funds earlier. I managed to lay my hands on the Blacksmithing and Armoursmithing Skills Book that would be beneficial for all of us. There's a balance from the credits that you all had transferred to me, and I am returning it back to you through Tinkerbell as she holds the exact amount. At the meantime, what are you going to do with all these weapons and armour? Have you all upgraded yours yet?"

Snowbunny asked since she seemed worried that they had not changed theirs to a better one of their choice. I checked the whole mound of weapons and armour, and I deduced that it would at least be like 1,500 credits or so. Besides, they had stored the semi-precious gemstones with Tinkerbell, and be trading off the topaz and white zirconia off for their own in-game savings account.

"They had changed to better equipment, and they said that they would like to trade these off with the NPC merchants. The credits would be shared equally. Almost everyone here is going to perform the trade before they log off since tomorrow is Saturday. They would need some extra credits to exchange for cash. You know, to go on their personal affair like a date, movies or just for some eats et cetera."

One of the core members informed me about the intention of some of the casual gamers, and this leaves the time for me to discuss with them more privately.

"Alright, let's do it then. Core members, inform the Master Sergeants to render the assistance and then once you are done, you may proceed back here because there's something I need to discuss with all of you. Go get your things done then." I beckoned to them, and they moved on along. A few moments later, the core members came back after helping the Master Sergeants to go about the affairs since its already break of dawn.

"Yes, Captain Guild Leader...what a nice catchy name you got there now, innit? So what do you wish to discuss with us about?" one of the core members inquired since I would only call them to gather if I have something important to speak. Other than I would generally announce to them and also on a one on one basis.

"Alright, since all the core members are around, including you, Snowbunny since you had not levelled up since you came here, no matter though, this concerns everyone, alright?"

"I had discussed with you generally about secondary professions besides the one that you had assigned right now. Main Tanks and that would be Snowball and Snowbunny. As long as you do not cause an avalanche, both of you need to concentrate on strength. As what Snowbunny had pointed out, Main Tanks are not only using their shields to block but to move and dodge the attacks and counter-attack whenever possible. Is that right, Snowbunny? That would save a lot of healing from WarPriestess. She has to heal others as well too, you know...! Besides, no other secondary profession would suit any of you. However, you can choose to take up Rogue as your secondary profession, especially SPD, AGI or DEX depending on what is shown on your screen. Go learn some lifesaving scroll skills, alright?"

"Secondly would be Crusader, you're the Guardian Knight, and we need you to dump points into your STR. Power...!!! We need more power...!!! Plus, go and find the right scrolls to learn Hundred Blade Strike. It would do a 10/12/18 damage per second for at least 5/10/15 seconds once you had upgraded it. Did you get that? Look at other scrolls and get back to me if you need any advice on them. As for you, there's no need for a secondary profession, unless you too would like to pick up Rogue. You may team up with Snowball and Snowbunny for melee practices."

"Thirdly, ShadowDancer...Critical Strikes is your primary focus. You will deal more damage at close range, and you may choose the Guardian Knight or Main Tank skills to enhance the adrenaline type of skills. Find out from the trio what they are using right now, and they would gladly give you pointers."

"Fourthly, Dragonfire, increase our Expertise in Bow Attacks. You really need to emphasis on that. Hit 100 points on that, and no one would be able to block your arrows with no skill attached. If you prefer, you can use Necromancer to boost your damage output on a normal bow attack. At the meantime, do learn some life-saving skills and footwork. You would be doing a lot of running and unleashing your arrows and be far away from any Healer. There are some basic skills from a Healer that you can learn like MENDING TOUCH and REBIRTH. You could heal yourself while attacking."

"Fifth, Warpriestess...the Healer and the most vulnerable of all. There's no offence from you except against the Undead. So, pump more points into your Divine Favour so that you could heal multiple allies at the same time. As for the additional defence part, you can learn about the Rogue's Shadow Arts mainly the RETURN and FALL BACK. You would need that fast casting slots so that when those melee characters get to close, you can run away quickly. There are two more stances that you could learn that would be able to block any incoming attacks like a Guardian Knight without using a shield. Take note and find out from Crusader."

"Sixth, Magehunter...you are also a wizard, just like me and you had seen me move and cut ASKIKR and his minions back then at the Town Square, am I right? Do you want to move like that and wield any weapons you like besides your staff? Put your secondary profession as NEUTRAL, and you could wield any weapon you wished. Learn the skills instead like SHADOW STEPS, BURST, BLINK, CUTTHROAT, BACKSTAB, EVISCERATE or even CLEAVE, s***h, MULTIPLE BLADES for Rogue's and Guardian's skills. Hehehe. In no time, those idiots would be surprised and pee in their pants if we wizards happen to block their incoming attacks with a sword...! They would be a DUMBASSFUCK...Hahahaha...!!!"

"The seventh, Puppetmaster...your RING OF FIRE, CHAOS and SUMMONER is pretty awesome. Since you are a long-range smiter, learn skills from the Wizard as your secondary profession. Get a headband rune to keep your Mana on the safe level as your unleash fire, frost, arcane, earth and wind manipulators alongside Magehunter. Those enemies would not know what hit them."

"Everyone had noted down on what you need to purchase, am I right? Remember guys, I still owe you lot 8,000 credits and I would also need to do my own levelling up in a few short moments. Thank you so much for your kind support."

"Hey, Captain Guild Leader, money cannot buy such information that you had divulged with us. Whatever information that you had given to us is vital and of great importance. What we need right now, is a place to call our own and also a family where we respect one another. Besides, all of us lives within a 5 km radius within one another so we would be in touch in the real world if we go offline. Friends will always remain as friends."

Crusader spoke up, and I nodded my head in apprehension. A proper place to train, a meeting place as well as a headquarters are all we need in the real world. So, with whatever resources and achievements we have, we would be able to make a name for ourselves. I guessed the time for us to sit and gather around in the real world would be nigh, and I was hoping that certain occurrences would be happening soon right now.
