29th December 1018 / 2018 0125rs "Next up on the auction is a staff. This is an extra special staff from a special user. It is the Mark of Magi and its the only one available on this land...! This is a specially crafted staff from a solid piece of steel rod for the handle and has a plume at the bottom end to poke the eyes of those nearby enemies. Yes, Yes, Yes...!!! The one and only Mark of Magi staff made for Wizards, Healers, Mages and Necromancers. It had been around for centuries, and there's no 2 Mark of Magis in the world that would have similar attributes. Everything on this staff is rated +250 for offence, defence, DPS, AoE and Resistance. The Mark of Magi only comes here once in a blue moon. The starting price is.........25,000 credits...!!!" "W H A T . T H E . F U C K...!!! 25,000 CREDITS...?!?! How the hell am I going to find such money just to buy a piece of stick that I could not use until I am Level 30 or 45...!!! That's only a piece of iron staff that would be good to whack the heads of those enemies that got too near to my comfort...Hahaha...!!!" "But really, where can one find 25,000 credits to start off...!" I thought inwardly as the auction price picked up after it was being introduced. The bidders were all NPC, and this edged me off to the corner as I do not have any use for it at this moment...!!! "30,000 credits" "35,000 credits over here, over here...!" "50,000 credits right here right now.....!!!" "Come here and take my money, please...65,000 credits...!!!" I nearly vomited blood when I heard those NPC were hollering such atrocious auction prices just to weed out the only human gamer which is me...!!! Goddamit...! Hope it does not happen to me when it comes to those items that I need to procure badly. Awww...!!! You don't have to do this to me if you really do not wish me to possess the iron Mark of Magi staff...!!! I slapped my own forehead, the more I thought about it. "65,000 credits...!!!" "Going once...twice... and this Mark of Magi goes to the lucky new owner over there. Come here and get your ticket, kind sir and so you would be able to collect and pay up for your find piece of staff...!!! A great choice over there, my kind sir..." The NPC auctioneer was hollering and congratulating the other NPC that had successfully topped the price for an iron Mark of Magi. I was wondering what would an NPC do for such a piece in his hands. He was not even a Mage...!!! What the fuck...!!! Maybe he would be using it to use as a place to hang his coat in the corner of the living room. Or he might be able to conjure up something and use it as a corner standing lamp...!!! Whatever it is, these NPCs were buying off those items just for the fun of it or a way to contribute to the city's finances. "And now...the next item would be an old book. This is an old book that contained deep and dark secrets. A mystical book that enables one to be able to forge those ores that are as big as a baby's head into intricate ingots. Ingots from copper, bronze, iron, steel and gold...Nothing escapes the capabilities of a Blacksmith the moment he or she possesses this fine book. For those who wanted to become an Apprentice Blacksmith all the way to a Grandmaster Blacksmith, this is the only book that you would ever need... No other books would be able to reach its distinction." "Starting price...3,000 credits...!!!" "That's right... It would be a mere 3,000 credits for starters...!!! "Any takers for a Blacksmith Skills Book at 3,000 credits...!!!" I had bought the same Blacksmith Skills Book for only 15,000 credits, and I am sure that the price would not be higher than the one I had bought before." "6,000 credits..." "6,500 credits here...Come and take my money...!!! "Here, here...7,000 credits...I implore you....My money is in the bank...!!! "7,500 credits..." "Here, Here...8,999 credits...Come and take my money...!!!" The last one who called for the lastest price was the same one who had bought the iron Mark of Magi. "Damn that fool... Why don't he priced it at 9,000 credits instead since its only a difference of 1 credit only?" I wanted to go over and knock some sense on the NPC's head with my wooden Blazefury that had lost its glory and only had a +15 damage for all attributes now. "9,500 credits..." Since it is my first time I croaked my voice, I placed an auction price based on the lowest median. I hoped to recover it as much as I could to get my hands on this Blacksmithing Skills Book. "9,500 credits...to the female Wizard over there..." "10,500 credits....!!!" H H H U U U A A A R R R G G G H H H...!!! That bloody NPC is trying to edge me over with this little competition. I can't simply jump over to 15,000 credits, would I? There are two such books I am waiting for, and I am sure that I do not miss the chance to grab any of those. Worse come to worst, I would get the Blacksmithing Skill Book, and the Armoursmith can be acquired later on in the later stages. "11,500 credits...U U U R R R G G G H H H ...!!! I WAS LITERALLY GRABBING MY HAIR AND INTENT TO PULL IT OUT WITH ALL THESE STRESSES...!!! I might as well fight 2 Level 25 Bosses than to face this kind of pressure...!!! "12,345 credits over here once more....!!!" W H A T...??? W H A T...??? W H A T...??? Bloody NPC...!!! Get off my back, will ya...!!! "13,500 credits...!!! Not a credit more...!!! U U U R R R G G G H H H..." I was feeling exasperated since I wanted to have the Blacksmithing Skill Books as much as I could. It would be the most profitable business I could get Twilight Trading to embark once I get the right person...!!! "15,000 credits...!!! A A A A R R R R G G G G H H H H ...!!!!!" I stomped my feet and stood up while leaning on my Blazefury. The Auctioneer recognised me as one of the students of Archmage Maelstorm and decided to close the auction early for the Blacksmithing Skill Book. "15,000 credits for the Blacksmithing Skill Book...! "Going once...twice... S O L D to the student of the Archmage Maelstorm..." "Come here and retrieve your ticket and proceed to pay and grab the auction that you had won, little Wizard...!" The Auctioneer played towards my favour and then closed the auction early as I went forward and heaved a sigh of relief as I took the ticket from the Auctioneer's hands. I really thought that I may not be able to acquire this Skill Book, but fortunately, I was able to. Now is the time to get the Armoursmith Skill Book next. Everyone clapped their hands when I went to collect the ticket from the Auctioneer and went back to my seat and felt relieved. I placed the ticket into my inventory and waited for the rest of the auction items to roll. After waiting for some time, the item that I was waiting for finally arrived. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we have right here a Skill Book that could bring any business to a new high with a collection of armour pieces that the gamers our there would like to lay their hands on. Right now, we do not have a dedicated armour shop that sells an exclusive set of armour that would save a gamer's life when facing those Bosses." "This Armoursmith Skills Book would definitely help boost the economy of our Votrieburg City...!" "Starting opening price...10,000 credits...!!!" the Auctioneer finally announced the opening price and I had gotten the Armoursmith Skill Book at 20,000 credits the last time. It seems the margin is too small for me to play around, and I have to lay my price down in the first stage...! "12,500 credits here..." I called out to the Auctioneer as I raised my staff high. "13,500 credits..." "14,000 credits..." "15,500 credits..." "16,500 credits here..." I raised my staff high once again as I neared my budget, and I knew that if the price shot higher than usual, I have to call for external assistance already. "18,500 credits..." An NPC raised her hands excitedly as they raised the price insanely high. They were treating this as a game and not as someone who would really need the auction pieces at all. "19,000 credits...not a credit more from me...!!!" I hollered out as I raised my staff in the air as if I had won the auction. "19,500 credits..." "20,500 credits..." "22,500 credits..." "H H H U U U A A A R R R G G G H H H ...NOT AGAIN...!!! I have to call for external help already...!!!" I screamed inwardly, as I stomped my feet several times in exasperation...!!! "25,000 credits...!!! I NEED THAT SKILL BOOK...!!!" I hollered out as I shouted the price, and I immediately brought up my communicator and contacted Tinkerbell. I messaged her that I need 5,000 credits or more since I am auctioning for a Skill Book that would benefit everyone. "I will get down to it. Hang on for a few minutes, Captain...!!!" The reply came, and I sighed a huge relief. Tinkerbell sent a broadcast message to all the core members regards to the need for credits and everyone responded except for Snowbunny. He might still be gathering the credits to pay me back since I had loaned him. "25,500 credits here..." another NPC stood up and stared at me as he announced the auction price. This auction is driving me crazy...!!! H H H U U U A A A R R R G G G H H H ...!!!
