What The Stars Said About Us

Mom knows that sleeping early was never my thing. So she would always wanted to make sure that I sleep before she finally went to bed. This habit was really annoying to me as I always find it unbearable seeing her dozing off on the couch outside my room while she held the whip. I couldn't understand what the whip was for anyway. i was never a recalcitrant child. Therefore, i always wondered who she wanted to beat with such a deadly whip. However, I decided to see for myself. As in, see if the whip was really meant for me. I sneaked out of my bed with my pajamas, then moved towards my mom. i waved my hands in her face to check if she has really slept off. There i was able to figure out that my mom was actually the wife of Jonah, the sleeping man the Holy Bible talked about. The snoring of my mom was enough to wake the whole universe. I wanted to return to my bed but i decided to see what's up outside the house. The night was full of cold. i would have said the night was serene if not the sounds of those creatures that share traits with me. I moved on in the cold night fearlessly. Fear was never my thing. I remembered few months ago when we had this deadly unexpected visitor in our house. Mom was so terrified that she almost pee on herself. I who always sleep late didn't understand why i slept early on that night. It was her yelling that woke me up. i quickly ran to her and asked her why she shouted like that. She pointed at the window. "mom, tell me. what's there?" i asked impatiently. "Snake!!" she yelled aloud. Although i was terrified when I heard that. But I summoned courage to be a man. I collected the whip from her while I moved gently towards the window. Mom was skeptical about what i was trying to do. "don't tell me it's what I'm thinking." "it is, mom." i answered while i continued moving towards the window. There i saw this black deadly creature crawling. without hesitation, I whipped it hard three times while it fell behind the window. i ran outside and made sure that it died totally. Mom was excited that his boy has quickly grown to be a man. I too was proud of myself. Since then, fear had nothing on me. I was walking alone for a few minutes and i sensed that i needed to return home. Who knows if the whip was actually meant for me? I quickly turned to go home but stumbled on what I'd describe as a beast. I was so scared. The beast was in black attire from head to toe. I looked around me for a weapon then i saw a broken bottle beside me. i quickly took it and then charged at this beast. "who are you? tell me. who are you? reveal yourself." I said while I moved back a bit. You won't believe that this beast didn't move from that spot. It sight made me terrified the more and that's the route to my home. I decided to sneak towards it and take my chance. I held the bottle firmly while I moved towards the beast. Without hesitation, I hit the beast with the bottle and it stumbled. You won't believe what i saw next.
