The dog I had saved from Drakes ruthless punches followed me home with his tail wagging happily. I hated that I had to cut short my passionate make out session with Bradley but I hated that Drake had hit his dog more.
“Come on puppy.” Sliding the key into the lock I pushed open the front door I paused . The house was quiet. Everyone had obviously gone to bed but I wanted to be quiet anyway. I didn’t know whether Faith would be happy with me bringing home a dog on my first day.
There was no rules about it but I didn’t want to risk it.
Tomorrow I would find a new home for the giant animal , unless of course Drake could promise me that it would never happen again.
I couldn’t actually believe that he had punched the poor animal straight in the face. What kind of monster did that?
