Dutch had given us an address. A safe house two hours north. Small. Off the grid. Secure. We made it there as the sun was rising, painting the sky in shades of pink and gold. The house was exactly what Dutch had promised. Small cabin. Generator. Well water. No neighbors for miles. Ennis killed the engine, and we sat there for a moment, none of us moving.
