~ Athena’s POV ~
I was going to find that damn book that could revive Ash. I can’t let my hard work go to waste just because some weirdo decided to trap his soul somewhere. I thought about finishing his story once and for all, but then I received a message from Hayden. He asked me about Ella’s location, so I decided to tag along with him to find her out. I knew that we might find her in the midnight packhouse.
Ella must be in pain and the reason must be the infidelity of her mate. Strangely, the she-wolves had to bear everything... even though when it’s not even their fault, to begin with... the one who cheats never feels that sort of pain.
“How unfair”, I muttered and Kris, who was walking towards me, stopped in his tracks.
Hayden was glaring at us and Ella just gazed at us.
