There is something fishy about this situation. Am I just thinking too much or is there something more that I am still not aware of? Why did Hayden take the blame? It’s not like I needed his help. I had already planned everything before coming to this bizarre place. He lost consciousness, so I signalled the pack doctor to treat him in one of the rooms. I don’t think he will be able to pass this night at this rate. His body was covered in sweat, but even then his scent was intoxicating.
