In the bustling city of Lakeview, Allison's life seemed picture-perfect - she's a law student, her parents and siblings love her, and she has an amazing flatmate and friend. To top it all off, she's dating one of the most wanted men on campus, "Jacob." Everything changes when Jacob vanishes for a week without a trace, the longest he has ever disappeared. When he returns, he brings tales of being attacked by a werewolf, but Allison doesn't believe him because there are no such things as werewolves in Lakeview. To get over Jacob, Allison joins a new dating app, Roped, just for fun. That's until she matches with Lucien - a man of irresistible charm, mystery, dominance, and seemingly boundless wealth. Yet, as Allison becomes increasingly entangled in Lucien's world, subtle hints and unsettling occurrences suggest a darker truth lurking beneath the surface of his perfection. As doubts begin to gnaw at her, Allison is faced with the unsettling possibility that perhaps there are indeed wolves prowling the shadows of the city streets. With each passing day, the line between reality and myth blurs, leaving Allison to question everything she once believed about her safe, familiar surroundings and the man she's starting to love.

1. My lips
Lucien: I didn't think I would match with anyone. Lucien: But when your lips called to me, I couldn't resist. Lucien's message popped up unexpectedly, cutting through the monotony of swiping left and right. His words were like a jolt of electricity, sparking a curious excitement within me. I replied him immediately. The Me: Ok wow! Me: This is the craziest pickup line ever. Me: Didn't you see any other girls with lips? Rolling my eyes, I couldn't help but smile as Sarah caught on to my amusement. Sarah, with her sun-kissed skin and effortless grace, stood in the kitchen, flipping pancakes with practiced ease. Her golden locks were pulled back into a loose ponytail, a few stray strands framing her face. Dressed in denim shorts and a soft pink crop top that accentuated her figure, she exuded a casual yet alluring charm. The morning sunlight danced across her features, highlighting the subtle freckles scattered across her nose. Despite the casual attire, there was an undeniable radiance about her that drew people in, making her the heart of any gathering. Which is why I love her so much. "Looks like someone's fully diving into this new dating app," Sarah quipped, her fingers deftly adjusting the flames under the skillet. "Have you finally stumbled upon someone interesting, or are you still contemplating deleting the app?" "I think I've found someone," I replied, a hint of excitement coloring my voice. "Besides, Lovebind is the perfect fit for me. I enjoy the interface, and the anonymity of using AI-generated pictures adds an intriguing layer. It feels more private too." The scent of sizzling batter wafted through the room, intermingling with the rhythmic sound of spatulas meeting the pan. "What you really need is to come out to the club with me. Find yourself a flesh-and-blood man, not some virtual creation. Who knows, behind those AI pictures could be a creepy guy lurking in a dingy basement," Sarah remarked, her concern masked by playful banter. Glancing up from my phone, I couldn't help but notice the fading tan on her skin. "You need some sun, girl. And stay out of my love life," I teased back, soaking in the familiar chaos of our shared space. College has us by the balls and our apartment looks like a wild mess. Clothes, shoes, and books are everywhere in the living room. Morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a cozy glow over everything. "Besides, it's not like I'd ever actually meet any of them. It's just for fun." "You say that now, but what if you end up falling head over heels?" Sarah's eyes sparkled with mischief as she leaned against the cupboard, her playful demeanor belying her genuine concern. "You know you secretly enjoy when I meddle. Consider yourself warned." "Oh, please," I chuckled, swiping through my phone absentmindedly. As a notification beeped, drawing my attention back, I couldn't help but repeat my mantra, "It's just for fun." Lucien: Don't tell me I scared you away with my honesty. Me: Maybe. I've never had a guy tell me my lips are so inviting. And that's saying something because I've matched with a lot of guys. Lucien: Never honest ones, I believe. Lucien: If they were, it wouldn't be the first time you'd be hearing this. Me: And other girls... Lucien: Theirs didn't summon me. Yours did. It's quite simple. Sarah's voice broke through my thoughts, and I looked up to find her standing in front of me, her expression curious. How did she sneak up on me like that? "Girl, you're grinning so hard. Let me see," she insisted, leaning in to peer at my screen. "No," I protested, attempting to wrestle the phone from Sarah's grasp, but she was too quick. With a mischievous grin, she snatched it away, and I let out an involuntary scream of protest. As she read Lucien's message aloud, laughter bubbled from her lips, filling the room with its infectious energy. "This guy is going to be a god in bed. Give him to me," she teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Sarah, no!" I exclaimed, reaching out to reclaim my phone from her clutches. But before I could retrieve it, the aroma of burning food filled the air, and Sarah darted away, leaving me alone with my racing thoughts. Taking a deep breath, I returned to my phone, trying to steady my pounding heart. "You are such a b***h Sarah!" I screamed at her. I returned to my phone, eager to continue the conversation about my lips because it's indeed my favorite part of my body. When I was in high school, people used to tease me about having big lips, but now with Kardashians and other celebrities getting lip injections, I've become confident in them. Now, everyone wants lips like mine, and I love that it's the first thing Lucien noticed. Me: I've never thought of my lips as anything special. Lucien: Then you haven't met many honest people. Lucien: Perhaps your family or friends never mentioned it. Me: How appealing do you find my lips? Me: I think you might be exaggerating a bit. Lucien: I don't think so. Me: But it's not fair to keep me in suspense. Lucien: Sometimes the unknown is liberating. Only in darkness can we truly be ourselves. Me: I genuinely don't see what's so remarkable. Lucien: One day, I'll convince you otherwise. Lucien: I'm sure there's more to you than just a sexy mouth. Me: You might be surprised. Lucien: Hopefully pleasantly. Me: You seem to have a lot of confidence in me. Lucien: Call it intuition. I have a sense when someone is... Me: Someone is? Lucien: Never mind. Me: You do enjoy keeping me guessing. Lucien: It adds to the intrigue. Me: That's not very fair of you. Lucien: Maybe I just want to draw you in. Me: So you're in the dark too? Lucien: Let's just say, I have my secrets. Shall I reveal them? Lucien: Curious about my other flaws? Lucien: There's much more I can show you. Me: That does sound intriguing, but I think I'll pass. Lucien: Are you afraid? Me: I'm just a simple girl, really. Lucien: You sound too innocent for this dating app. Lucien: There are plenty of predators out there targeting young girls. Me: How do I know you're not one of them? Lucien: Do I sound like one to you? I look up at my phone, pondering his question. "He just asked if he sounds like a p*****t. What do I say? Should I crush his ego?" "I think you should go for it and crush his ego." "What? No way!" I chuckle. "You're terrible." "I'm just advocating for honesty here," Sarah replied, twerking as she poured syrup for herself and me. She came out of the kitchen with two plates and dropped one on the chair by my side. "Thanks, babe," I said, smiling gratefully. She plumped down on the couch near me. "So, reply to him. Crush his heart before it even begins," Sarah said, smirking. I giggle. "You are such a bitch." "That's why you love me, baby,"
