Laura Meets a Man

Laura woke up the next day at 7 AM. Her father also woke up. Laura felt she had to take a shower. She woke up and took a shower.

            “I cannot stop thinking about Katie,” Laura said to herself as the one-hundred-and-three-degree water cascaded over her body.

Laura caught herself m**********g.

            “I am such a slut,” Laura said to herself.

Laura wondered how old her girlfriend was. She knew Katie was in her twenties. When she finished her shower, she dried off, put on her bra and panties, and went back to her room. After she got dressed, she went to the kitchen to have breakfast.

            “Good Morning, Dad.”

            “Good Morning, Sweetie.”

Laura said that after breakfast, she was going to Big O and replace her struts. Laura brushed her teeth and brushed her hair.

            “Okay, I’m not sure what I’ll do today. I’ll probably get out and mow the yard. Tomorrow night, I may go to stay the night at Joan’s house.”

Joan is Randall’s girlfriend. Randall is Laura’s father.

            “I’ll see you later,” Laura said to Randall.

            “Bye, sweetie,” Randall said.

She got in her car and left. She hit a bump and her boobs flew up and hit her.

            “I cannot wait to have these damn struts replaced,” Laura said angrily.

Laura decided to use her unemployment card to pay for her struts.

            “I need to file my unemployment voucher tomorrow night.”

Laura was happy she was getting $347.00 a week in unemployment. She just wasn’t happy being unemployed. She was thinking about starting at Speedway on Monday. She was also thinking about her girlfriend. After about twenty minutes, she pulled into the Big O parking lot. Laura walked in. There were a few other customers.

            “How can I help you?” a technician, Ron, asked.

            “I received an estimate on replacing my struts yesterday and I wanted to have them replaced.”

            “Okay, where’s your car?” he asked.

Laura walked outside and the technician followed her. Laura turned around.

            “I’m right here,” Ron laughed.

            “You better not pinch my ass,” Laura said to herself.

Ron inspected the car and Laura gave him her keys.

            “We should be done in about an hour or so,” Ron said.

            “Okay, thank you for working on my car. It’s not safe to drive.”

            “Right, I agree.” Ron said,

Laura then sat down and crossed her legs. She pulled on the bottom of her skirt.

            “It’s not safe to drive for other reasons you’re not aware of,” she said to herself.

An old man sat next to her. He said hi to her.

            “Hi,” Laura said to him.

            “Was that your Cobalt?” he asked.

            “Yeah, I’m having the struts replaced. I am excited that I start training for store manager at Speedway Monday.

            “Oh, my wife and I go there all the time.”

            “After the first three weeks, they are supposed to give me my own store. I understand that I will be going to the Clarksville store.

            “Well, I hope I see you there,” he said.

            “I am glad there’s a couple of things going right for me. I am starting a job Monday and I met someone. I am 30 years old and was single.”

            “I hope he is good to you,” the man said.

            “I really love ‘him,’” Laura told the man.

She didn’t want to tell a stranger that she was gay. She decided to go smoke a cigarette.

            “I wonder what Katie looks like naked,” Laura said to herself.

Laura then walked around the waiting room. Laura decided to wear her sexy, little red dress and red pantyhose on her date with Katie.

            "She is going to think I am a complete slut," Laura said to herself.

Another technician accidentally bumped into her as she was smoking.

            "I am so sorry," he said to her.

Laura said it was okay. She went back inside to get some coffee. After finishing her coffee, she had to go to the bathroom.

            "This bathroom is disgusting. I am not sitting down here."

She then found a manager to ask someone to clean the bathroom while holding herself. Someone went and cleaned the women's bathroom.

Laura finished using the bathroom and called Katie. It rang and went to voicemail.

            “Hey, Katie. I was wondering if you would like to go out to eat tomorrow night. I am here at the Big O in Madison getting my struts replaced. I will talk to you later.”

There were men looking at Laura’s ass.

            “Perverts, I have a girlfriend,” she said to them.

A man had his young son with him. Laura caught his son.

            “Sir, will you tell your son to quit looking up my skirt?” Laura told the man angrily.

The man pulled him away.

She went back to sit down. The man and his son were sitting across from her. Laura quickly crossed her legs.

            “Laura,” a technician said.

He called her into the garage. He showed her that her ball joints are bad.

            “Huh, can I get an estimate on those? I’ll probably wait.”

The technician went to the store computer and got her an estimate.

            “$475.00,” she said to herself as she read the estimate.

Laura asked if her car was almost ready.

            “It looks like about another forty minutes, they have replaced the two fronts,” he said.

Laura was nervous that she didn’t have enough on her unemployment card to pay for the struts.

            “I should have $800.00 on my unemployment card. I should have around $120.00 left after I pay for my struts.”

Laura sat back down. She was getting so bored that she almost fell asleep. Laura needed another cigarette. She could not stop thinking about the time she tried to commit suicide.

            “Thank you, Mom. You saved my life,” Laura cried.

After another thirty minutes, the technician and informed her the work was complete.

            “Maybe my boobs won’t hit me when I hit a bump,” Laura said to herself.

            “We did see your ball joints were bad. Your tires look like they will need to be replaced within the next year. I’d say you probably have another 20,000 miles left on them.”

He then rang up her invoice.

            “It’ll be $722.31,” her told her.

Laura used her unemployment card. She used her pin.

            “Incorrect pin,” the display said.

            “Really?” she said as she tried her pin number again.

It was approved the second time.

The technician gave her keys back.

            “Thank you,” Laura said.

Laura went to get her car and went to Wal-Mart. She needed more shampoo and soap. Laura has always liked Dial soap. She got Suave shampoo. She got coffee. She also walked to the back of the store to the dairy cooler and got liquid coffee creamer. She had people looking at her sexy legs.

            “I’m sorry, guys. You cannot have me. I’m taken,” she said to herself

Her favorite flavor was peppermint. Peppermint reminds Laura of Christmas.

            “I remember when I was a little girl when Mom put up the tree,” Laura smiled as she held the bottle of peppermint creamer.

            “Excuse me, ma’am. I wanted to get some coffee creamer.” a middle-aged heavy-set man said.

            “I am so sorry,” Laura said as she moved.

She also went to electronics to look around. She looked at laptops and saw the one she bought at Scottsburg was $25.00 more at the Madison Wal-Mart.

            “That doesn’t make sense,” Laura said to herself.

Her phone rang. It was her father.

            “Hi, Dad.”

            “Sweetie, can you get me a twelve pack of beer on the way home?”

            “Yeah, I can,” Laura said.

            “I’ll see you when you get home,” Randall said.

She decided to get some wine coolers for herself. She decided to go to a liquor store. Laura then checked out.

            “Hello, ma’am,” said a male cashier.

Laura noticed he had a yellow stripe on his badge. He was flirting with her. He then told Laura her total. Laura used her debit card.

            “You have really beautiful eyes,” he told her.

            “Thank you,” she said as she looked away.

            “You have a nice day,” he told her.

Laura then hurried to leave.

            “He can’t be over seventeen or eighteen. Even if I was interested in him, I am way too old for him.”

It was only 11:00 A.M. and it was already eighty-three degrees.

Laura pulled out of the parking lot. She decided to stop at Speedway and get some soft drinks and some snacks. She saw some people that weren’t there the day before. There was a short heavyset woman and a woman about Laura’s height and age.

            “How are you today?” The one about Laura’s height said.

            “I am good. What is your name?”

            “I am Dreama. The other woman is Catherine.”

Laura introduced herself.

            “I’m Laura. I will be the new manager in training. I start Monday. I will be here for three weeks. After that I understand I will be taking over the Clarksville store.”

            “You will like this store,” Catherine said.

            “Tyler is a good person to get along with. One person is hard to like is Lois. She is not easy to get along with.” Dreama said.

            “I will watch out for her,” Laura laughed.

Laura got what she wanted and Dreama rang her up. Tyler then came out of the office. He went outside to smoke.

            “Hey, Tyler.” Laura said to him.

            “Hey, Laura.”

As Laura was leaving, she saw a woman in a Speedway shirt that looked like her.

            “Hello. Are you from the Scottsburg store?”

            “Yes, I’m Lisa. Casey said there was a woman in training that looked like me. I’m an assistant manager over there. It’s nice to meet you, Laura.”

            “Nice meeting you, Lisa.”

Laura decided to get out of there.

            “No need to meet the entire company before I have ever started. But Lisa does have a cute little ass,” Laura said to herself.

Laura decided to stop at the Hanover post office to open a post office box.

            “May I help you?” The male clerk asked.

            “I would like to open a post office box.”

He then asked what size she wanted.

            “I would like a small box,” Laura said.

He had Laura fill out a box rental form. He also had her get her car registration and her driver’s license.

            “Okay,” she told him.

She went to get her registration. When she came back, he looked at what Laura gave him. The clerk assigned her a box. As Laura paid for her box, the clerk got the keys for the box. Laura went to try the keys. The keys turned a little hard. Laura asked why they turned so hard.

            “Oh, it looks like that box hasn’t been rented for a while,” he told Laura.

            “Okay. well thank you,” Laura said to him.

She left the post office and stopped to get beer and wine coolers. Laura went to the liquor store. She got beer and wine coolers. As she went to the counter, the clerk asked her for her ID.

            “I’m 30 years old,” she told the female clerk.

Laura then showed her ID. As the woman checked Laura’s ID, Laura got out her debit card and swiped it. Her receipt printed.

            “Have a nice day,” the clerk said.

            “You, too,” Laura said.

Laura then went home.

            “I am excited to see Katie tomorrow night,” Laura said to herself.

Laura hit a bump, but the jolt wasn’t nearly as bad as yesterday.

            “Oh, good. My t**s didn’t fly up this time. That was the best $700.00 I spent.”

Laura arrived home a few minutes later. She put away what she bought and put the beer and wine coolers in the refrigerator.

            “What am I going to do with the rest of my day?” Laura pondered as it was only noon.

            “I’m going to sit on the porch,” Randall told his daughter.

            “I will join you,” Laura said.

Randall asked how everything at Big O went.

            “They said my ball joints needed to be replaced.”

Randall recommended she have both replaced at the same time.

            “They quoted $700.00 for both sides. I think I’ll wait another two weeks.”

            “Dad, I don’t know how to tell you this.”

            “What is it sweetie?” Randall asked.

            “I have a crush on another woman. She is an assistant manager at Scottsburg,” Laura nervously said.

            “You better be careful,” he told her.

            “I can’t tell Katie. I’ve only known her for three days, but, I know she is the right one.”

            “How do you know this other woman?”

            “I went to Speedway to get some soft drinks and she happened to be there getting some things that her store was low on,”

            “Just be careful. I would like to meet Katie.”

Randall was not liking what he was hearing. Laura went inside to her room. She decided to surf the internet on her laptop.

            “I need to quit thinking about how sexy Lisa is,” Laura said to herself.

Laura laid on her bed and pulled down her little black skirt and played with herself.

            “Laura, you slut, you have a girlfriend but fantasizing about another woman. I hate it when guys look up my skirt. If I keep fantasizing about Lisa, I could get fired before I ever start work.”

Laura waited until after Katie left work to call her. She decided to keep her fantasies about Lisa secret. Laura got dressed and went back to surf the internet.

            “This internet service is so shitty. I wish we had better internet.”

Laura wasn’t looking for anything in particular. After a few minutes, she decided to take a shower.

            “Hey, Dad. I’m going to take a shower.”

            “Okay,” he said.

She then got different clothes to wear after her shower. Laura got undressed and started showering.

            “Dad, I know you hate that I am gay,” she said to herself.

She was wondering if Katie would want to go out to eat that evening.

Laura washed her hair. After she was done, she wrapped up in a towel. She opened the bathroom door. Her dad came down the hall to his bedroom.

            “Dad, I don’t have any clothes on,” Laura said to him.

            “I’m sorry, sweetie,” he apologized.

She then ran to her bedroom and locked the door. Laura put on a button up blouse and jeans. Laura then washed her clothes. She decided to sit outside with her father.

            “Dad, I didn’t mean to get upset.”

            “It’s okay. I understand. It is warm out here. The wireless thermometer says it’s ninety.”

Laura decided to ride the four-wheeler. She had to clear her mind of what was going on.

            “I’ll be back in a little bit.”

            “Be careful,” Randall said to her.

She checked the oil and gas. The oil was fine but she decided to get gas for it.

            “The four-wheeler is a little low on gas so, I am going to Hanover to get some gas.”

            “Okay, I’ll see you in a little while,” Randall said.

Laura got the gas can and went to get gas for the four-wheeler. She also decided to put some gas in the riding lawn mower. It took her about ten minutes to get to the gas station. She pulled up to a pump and went inside to prepay. She decided to get a frozen drink. She also got a candy bar.

            “Hey, sexy. What’s your name?” said a young man.

            “It’s Laura,” she said as she looked away.

            “I’m Michael,” he said.

Laura though he was hitting on her.

            “Are you seeing anyone?” he asked.

            “I have a boyfriend,” she lied.

She prepaid $17.00 on pump three. She added the other items onto her order. As she paid for her items, Laura dreaded going back out in the heat.

            “I hate it when guys hit on me,” Laura said to herself while she pumped her gas.

It was so hot that Laura could see the fumes coming out of the gas can as she was pumping. She took her sleeve and wiped the sweat from her forehead. She also drank some of her drink. The pump stopped at $13.00. She went back inside to get another receipt.

            “That’s what will be charged to your debit card,” the female cashier said.

            “Okay, that’s what I thought,” Laura told her.

Laura the left and went straight home.

            “I wonder what Katie would think seeing me in jeans,” Laura said to herself.

Laura arrived back home. She took the gas can out of her trunk and took it to the garage. She filled the four-wheeler with fuel. Laura put the gas can away and started to ride the four-wheeler.

            “I always loved riding this thing. It gets my mind off my problems for a little while.”

Laura was riding on the property and she had to use the bathroom.

            “I have to pee,” Laura said.

She got off the four-wheeler, pulled down her pants and relieved herself.

            “I hope no one is around to see my naked ass while using the bathroom.”

She then got dressed and finished riding. Laura parked the four-wheeler and went back in the house.

            “Hey, Laura. Would you want to go out to eat somewhere? I’m getting bored.”

            “Okay, where would you like to go?” Laura asked her father.

Randall thought of Wendy’s. Laura agreed.

            “I love their Spicy chicken. I love their Frosties.”

Laura got her purse and her phone. Randall locked the door. She met her father in his truck. They left the house.

            “Dad, if you want me to pay, I can,” she told him.

            “I’ll get it,” he said.

            “When I was at Big O earlier, I called Katie and asked if she may want to go out to eat tomorrow night, I know you are likely to stay with Joan tomorrow night. But I was going to ask Katie if I could stay the night with her. I left her a voicemail, but she has not called back.”

            “It’s up to you. You are 30 years old. You’re a grown woman.”

Randall decided to stop for gas. Katie called while he was inside.

            “Hi, Katie,” Laura flirted.

            “Hi, I just got off work. We had several people call off today.”

            “Why’s that?” Laura asked.

Katie said that it was because it was payday.

            “I got your voicemail. I’d love to go out tomorrow night.”

            “My dad is going to his girlfriend’s house.”

            “Okay, if you would like to…you know…come over?”

Laura said that she would love to come over.

            “I’m trying to decide what color dress I will wear,” Laura flirted.

            “I’m wearing a button up blouse and a little red skirt,” Katie said.

            “My dad and I are going out to eat now,” Laura said.

            “Okay, I will talk to you later,” Katie flirted.

Randall got back in the truck as Laura hung up.

            “That was Katie. We decided to go out to eat tomorrow night.”

Randall and Laura then left the gas station and went to Wendy’s. Laura and Randall went inside. Randall let Laura order first.

            “I would like a Spicy chicken, small chili and medium frosty.”

            “I would like a Single combo no cheese,” Randall said.

The female cashier told Randall the total. He used his debit card.

            “She is kinda cute,” Laura told her father.

            “Laura, stop that,” Randall told her.

            “I can’t help it if my hormones are raging,” Laura said to herself.

Randall then happened to see someone he worked with at a previous job.

            “Hey, Buck. How are you doing? This is my daughter, Laura.” he said.

            “Hey, Randall, I am great. This is my son, David.”

            “Hi, Laura,” David said.

            “Hi, how are you?” she asked.

            “I am good. You didn’t say you had such a beautiful daughter,” David said.

            “Okay, I will pretend to be interested, just so I don’t appear rude,” Laura told herself.

Randall and Laura sat at a table. Buck and David sat nearby. David sat next to Laura.

David appeared to be flirting with Laura.

            “So, Laura what do you like to do in your spare time?”

            “I like riding my four-wheeler and surfing the internet. I love wearing short skirts and black pantyhose.”

            “I have a four-wheeler also. What you like to wear is not something I asked,” David said flirtatiously.

David asked how old Laura is.

            “You should never ask woman her age. I’m thirty. I’ll be thirty-one in May of next year,” Laura said flirtatiously.

            “Oh, I’m twenty-four. Would you like to go out sometime?” David asked as Laura was eating.

            “I’ll have to think about it,” Laura lied.

As David was eating, he was flirting with Laura. Laura wanted to tell David that she is seeing someone but didn’t want to hurt his feelings.

            “Maybe David and Laura can go out on a date sometime,” Buck suggested.

            “Maybe,” Randall said.

As Laura finished her sandwich and chili, she slowly ate her frosty.

            “This is so good,” Laura said to herself.

Randall then asked Laura if she was ready to go.

            “I am ready,” She said.

            “Well, Buck, it was good to see you.”

            “Good seeing you, Randall.”

Everyone went their separate ways. Laura took her Frosty with her.

            “David seems like a nice guy, but maybe I can just be friends with him. I didn’t want to hurt his feelings,” Laura said to her father.

            “I understand,” Randall said to his daughter.

            “I may go out with him once, just to not hurt his feelings. But I will not sleep with him,” Laura told her father.

            “No one said you had to,” Randall told Laura.

Laura ate her Frosty while her father drove. They decided to shop at Big Lots before going home. They both went in and Laura looked at clothes.

            “I think these blouses are sexy. I will buy a couple,”

She also saw a couple of denim skirts she liked.

Laura liked summer because she could wear skirts that show her legs. She also looked around for a few minutes before checking out. Laura then went back to the truck where Randall was all ready waiting. He bought a couple bags of candy.

            “You got some clothes?” Randall asked his daughter.

            “Yeah, I needed a couple of denim skirts.”

Randall and Laura left and pulled out onto Lanier Drive. There was a teenager speeding and a police officer pulled him over.

            “What a dumbass,” Laura said to her father.

Randall agreed. They then turned left toward Clifty Drive and turned as the light was green.

            “I am so excited to start work at Speedway Monday morning.”

She was nervous about seeing anyone she went to school with finding out she was gay. Laura felt bad about lying to Christie, one of the women she went to school with.

            “Dreama and Catherine seemed pretty nice,” Laura said to herself.

Laura and Randall went home and watched TV the rest of the evening.

Laura then went to her room to surf the internet.

            “I am getting so horny,” Laura said to herself.

Laura pulled down her pants and played with herself.

            “Katie is so hot. I am so excited to stay at her house. Who knows if we will have s*x? I am going to wear my shortest little black dress.”

She also thought about a date with David and what she would wear on that date.

Laura got dressed and surfed the internet. She also had clothes that she needed to wash.

            “What color panties will turn Katie on? I am afraid to tell her that I am considering going out with David. If David and I have s*x, he better use protection,” Laura said to herself.

Laura’s phone rang. It was Katie.

            “Hi, Sexy. I was thinking about you,”

            “I was thinking about you also,” Katie told her girlfriend.

            “My dad and me went out to eat. We ate at Wendy’s. He ran into someone he used to work with.”

It was on the tip of Laura’s tongue to tell her about David, but she didn’t.

            “My dad is going to his girlfriend’s house tomorrow night. She lives in Vevay. He usually leaves around noon.”

            “Okay, I’m just watching some TV and thinking about you,” Katie flirted.

            “I got some new skirts and a couple of new blouses.”

Laura told Katie she couldn’t wait to see her tomorrow night.

            “Bye, Laura.”

            “Bye, Katie,”

Laura decided to surf the internet.

            “Why is this weekend coming and going so slowly?” Laura asked herself.

Laura remembered she never gave David her phone number. Although she didn’t have much interest in him, she thought it would be fair to give David a chance. Laura was afraid Katie may find out about her going out with David.

            “I know Dad would much rather me go out with David than Katie,” Laura pondered.

Laura then asked her father if he had Buck’s phone number.

            “No, why?” Randall asked.

            “I have decided I would at least give David a chance.”

            “You not considering cheating on Katie, are you?”

            “No, I don’t want to hurt David’s feelings. I only intend to go on one date with him.”

            “Okay, I’ll see if I can get his number.”

            “Thank you,” Laura smiled.

Laura then decided to get a bottle of flavored water and watch TV.

            “I am going to call Joan and talk to her for a little bit.”

            “Okay.”

Laura loved watching home improvement shows. Her favorite one is Flip or Flop.

            “Some of those houses are absolutely disgusting,” Laura said to herself.

Laura couldn’t believe how much is spent to renovate and resell a house.

            “I would love to own my own house,” Laura said to herself.

Laura knew she couldn’t buy a house until she works at Speedway for a while. She also watched a couple of Lifetime Movies until she went to bed. Laura went to bed at about midnight. She said goodnight to her father. She texted goodnight to Katie.

            “Good night, Laura.”
