Seven days later. At the village of Taita, Mshapa and his task force committee are ready to head to Nairobi for being handed leadership by the current president Mr. Yunus and vice president Mr. Salama.  This was upon a meeting in which Mshapa did not give them an option but rather resigned. The day has arrived and no turning back, powers will either be handed swiftly or by force. Mshapa and his men are ready. He had planned this long time, and it had been planned well.  The PEAP project was begun long before he even introduced it to his current taskforce. He had already recruited many officials who worked at the government offices to enable this day pass with no rangles. The general and many high-rank officials of the army are on Mshapa's side. All these people had drunk the concoction that would make them loyal to Mshapa. They agreed in his ideology and today was the day for making Kenya a country with transparency, fairness, and tranquility.  Only Mshapa and Pepo knew who was who in this game, they knew the plan and how it was going to be executed. By the end of the day, Mshapa would be the president and Lucia the vice president, yet she had no news at all. Pepo would be the general to all armed forces, that is the army, navy, and airforce. He would not allow anyone to stop him from reaching that position today, he was ready to spill blood for it. Six cabinet secretaries were on Mshapa's side, they really wanted him to be the president.  The head of the judiciary, governor of Taita county Mr. Maneno, religious leaders, activists, and many citizens were on the Mshapa’s side, they all adored his ways of doing things. Corrupt leaders did not like Mshapa at all because he distracted their bad deals, he was the whistleblower to any scandal. Today they will get a shock of the year. Rumors moved around but most people especially the die-hards of the president and leaders of the other side brushed the news saying that can never happen.  Mshapa and his team were ready in Taita at the cave,  ready to go to the statehouse Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. It was a beautiful day with clear sunshine. Fifty fighters, ladies and men, taskforce, Mshapa, and his wife Flora who was about to be the fast lady of the country were standing inside the cave at the hill. All had the invisibility power just in case an attack occurred and the fifty fighters were there to keep things in order.  "We are going to get power today, " Mshapa said. "Power that will enable us to run our agendas, power that will empower us to serve mankind with respect, fairness, and honor."  "Power, power, power for our country and planet" Pepo asserted.  "Power, power, power for our country and planet" they replied.  "Yes, that is the spirit, are you ready to change the world?" Mshapa asked them.  "Yes, Mr president" they replied as they gave a victorious smile.  They formed a circle and held the hands of each other and they disappeared.  At the statehouse they appeared at the visitor’s lounge, no one was there, that was part of the plan. President, Mr. Yunus was noticed, and he and his team were ready. He showed to be calm but deep inside he was not happy at all about this transition. The media was present, they were told the president wanted to make a nation’s address. They did not know exactly what was to take place but the preparations and how everyone was in a suit made them suspect something big was about to happen.  They became keener and captured every moment around the statehouse. Inside the president and his vice president joined Mshapa and his team and agreed on how they will conduct the transition. Agreement documents were signed, a lot was handed this was to be done so that the outgoing president and his vice won’t be arraigned to court for any wrongdoing. They knew after handing power anything could happen. After finishing this safety documentation they headed to the statehouse entrance where the transition was to take place.  The media was in place, cameras were rolling and people were shocked to see new faces and tight security made of Mshapa’s men and women.  The vice president Mr. Salama was to start, "We are here today with great news, things change and today we shall witness that change. I would say I agree with the change and I urge you, people of Kenya, to accept it as it is. I love you all. Let me welcome the president Mr. Yunus to tell you the news."  "Citizens of this beloved country Kenya, once again am honored to serve you as your president. With love I have for this country today we have made a decision that will take this country beyond horizons. This is a great nation and deserves to be led by great people. We sat down with my vice president and other leaders and decided to resign and hand over the country to a more skillful leader."  The president kept silent and those who did not know were shocked, the whole country was silent and following on their television a historic event which has never happened.  "I and other leaders have resigned and we hand over power to Mshapa and his team. Please join me in welcoming Mshapa."  Mshapa walks forward and greets Yunus and hugs him. Yunus walks back and Mshapa says, "Thank you very much for this moment, times change and we accept change. Before I continue I would like to give the person who will be our vice president time to speak. Join me and invite our vice president Lucia."  All eyes looked at her, Lucia could not believe, it was a surprise for her. Mshapa knew she was competent enough and she would take the task with no fear. She kept the shock aside and walked briskly as the vice president to address the nation.  "Today is a new beginning for our country. I accept the mandate bestowed in me and would serve to the advantage and development of our country. Let us accept this change with positive energy, let us embrace new things that would bring progress and unity among us. Thank you, my fellow citizens."  The country was in shock, other countries were in shock but had nothing to say because this was Kenyans affairs.  It was breaking news everywhere, people stopped what they were doing and got glued on their screens.  Mshapa took the podium for the first time as the president to address the nation. This was a great step to achieving project PEAP, he has everything he needs to work it out. Kenya would be the hub for executing the project under a company called the PEAP group.  "It is indeed a wonderful day. After a constructive discussion and consultations with my predecessors, it was in the common interest to be your president. Citizens have come to focus on national development and not be selfish by indulging in self-gain deals at the expense of our great nation. You need to shun from the mediocre and comfort zone and become doers, planners, and implementers of a great future. I accept this position with great pleasure and promise to serve all citizens of this nation without discrimination of race, gender, ideology, tribe, nationality, and disability. My mandate and those whom I would work with will be to serve the nation and world at large with fairness, justice, and with equalness. Thank you very much."  Three days after Mshapa became the president, the inaugural ceremony has been planned to mark the beginning of this amazing institution.  All over, the world kept a keen eye on what was happening in Kenya. It has never happened in the history of mankind a president and his all members hand over power to another person just like that. The citizens filled the stadium, none of them opposed this move, they knew Mshapa well he has always been fighting for their justice. It is the inauguration ceremony, many leaders from all walks of the world are here to witness the process of swearing into office Mshapa and Lucia. Mshapa sat calmly, beside him was his wife Flora, she looked great, on the other side was Lucia, she looked sharp. Yunus and Salama were also here, people know how they embezzled the country but are waiting to see what will happen.    Handing over power is not easy. The chief justice endorsed the conduct of the swearing-in ceremony.  Mshapa and his wife stood, Flora was holding the constitution, as for Mshapa he was using his right hand to lift the bible, the other hand was placed on the constitution held by Flora.  He repeated after the chief Justice read the oath of allegiance, "I Mshapa Jiwe, in full realization of the high calling, I assume as president of the Republic of Kenya, do swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to the Republic of Kenya that I will obey, preserve, protect and defend the constitution of Kenya as by law established and all other laws of the republic and that I will protect uphold the sovereignty, integrity and the dignity of the people of Kenya, so help me God." cheers and screams filled the air.  Another oath was administered, the oath of due execution of the functions of the office, repeated after the Chief justice, "I Mshapa Jiwe, do swear that I will always truly and diligently serve the people and the Republic of Kenya, that I will diligently discharge my duties and perform my functions in the office of president of the Republic of Kenya, and that I will do justice to all, in accordance to this constitution as by law established and by laws of Kenya without fear, favor, affection or ill will, so help me God."  Having taken the two oaths of office the president appended his signature on the oaths for the allegiance of office and the second oath for the due execution of office for president, and also appended a signature on the third document for the certificate of the inauguration, for confirmation of this ceremony. The chief justice also appended his signature to all three documents and sealed them.  After all these activities, the chief justice said, "Citizens, it is now my pleasure to bring before you the president of the Republic of Kenya."  “Mshapa, Mshapa, Mshapa our president” Citizens cheered happily.  The same was done to vice president, Lucia Wachia. Yunus handed over instruments of power and authority, a sword, and a constitution. The national anthem was sung in full, the flags and pictures of the previous president were changed to that of the current government. A military salute of twenty-four cannon firing was done.  About twenty heads of state attended and were witnessing all this.  The ceremony ended without a hitch, everyone went home happy except some leaders and businessmen who knew what was coming in this leadership. Things will be tough on them, extremely tough, other nations did not like the new leadership they knew Mshapa and his ideologies don’t match with theirs.  Still, Mshapa is the president, Taita people were in a festive mood, their son has made them proud. Development is what they are waiting for now, no excuse should be given, the president has everything at his disposal. It is time to work.
