* * * Acha involuntarily emptied her stomach as the momentum ceased. She felt as if she had been pulled and twisted to breaking point. When the lights around her vanished, her legs had given way. She seemed to suffer worse than Eiji and Daniel, who only took a few staggered paces before examining their surroundings. Eiji's hand reached out gripping Daniel's arm tightly, both aware of the destruction as yet unseen by Acha's eyes. She rose shakily to her feet, her vision finding focus only within the stone circle. As the world stopped spinning, she looked beyond her friends to the crumbled town upon the marshland.
