A Familiar Face

"Their children were said to have half the strength and speed of a god while also being able to shift into a wolf, making them the ultimate beasts." Mr. Jones says.  "Which is what we can only assume is the reason why the lupus constellation exists." he says finishing the lesson for the day. Everyone starts packing up their bags, me and Trinity were nearly out of the classroom when we hear Mr. Jones call out. "Trinity, will you please stay behind, I would like to speak with you."  Trinity instantly stops in her tracks, her face going pale as if she had just seen a ghost.  "Ill wait for you by the cars" I tell her.  She gives me a quick nod and turns around heading back into the classroom. I start walking towards the doors heading out of the school, looking down for a quick second while I try to dig my keys out of my purse. -thud-  I hit the floor after walking head first into a wall. Since when was there a wall there? I look in front of me realizing that it wasn't actually a wall just a man built like a wall.  "I-Im sor-" I say my voice becoming lost as I make eye contact with the fiery auburn eyes from earlier. Samuel, the wall I just hit, our eyes never parting as the world around us seems to move in slow motion. He smirks at me, as I finally notice I've pretty much been gawking at him for several minutes. He sticks his hand out offering to help me up, I reach out with my own ready to grab his. That is until two arms pick me up from behind and drag me upwards as if I weighed nothing. "What the hell happened to you?" Trinity says to me as she turns me around to face her dusting off my dress for me. I seem to be unable to find my words still. "oh come on!" she says as she drags me away from Samuel  "you were supposed to wait for me by the cars." she adds right before mumbling something under her breath I could only make out as "Stupid, Selfish Dogs" ah! she's talking about men. I wonder what happened with Mr. Jones. "Hey T, are you okay?" I say. "Me? Just peachy!" she says in a sarcastic sing song voice. "Come on T, talk to me." I beg, I've never seen her act like this and its starting to worry me. She lets out a deep sigh as we get to our cars. "Lets talk at your house, I could really use some of Grandma Lyla's hidden tequila" she laughs. We climb into our cars and head back to my house, swiping my grandmas favorite tequila that she hides behind her cook books, as we make our way upstairs to my bedroom. We sit down on my bed and she takes a swig straight from the bottle, before passing it to me.  "So you know Mr. Jones?" she asks as I take a big sip and pass the bottle back to her. "What about him?" I respond. "umm well you see.." she says as she jumps off the bed and pours three shots worth of the tequila straight into her mouth before handing me the bottle. Damn this girl could hold her liquor. "He's kind of my dad" she adds. I drop the bottle on my bed a good chunk of its contents spilling on my sheets. just as we hear my grandma pulling into the driveway. "s**t!" we both say, Trinity grabbing the bottle and hiding it under my bathroom sink while I start ripping the blankets off the bed, realizing it soaked all the way through to my mattress protector. Great now I have to take that off to, I start yanking it off just as my grandma knocks on my door right before opening it to let herself in.  "Hey girls, I saw your cars outside and was-" she breaks off staring at us Trinity now holding my sheets and me half way hanging off the bed from trying to get the mattress protector off. My grandmother opens her mouth to speak but before she can even say anything Trinity beats her to it. "CHLOE, WET THE BED!" Trinity shouts while pointing her finger at me. "Chloe Donovan! you are nearly 18 years old! if you have to go to the bathroom go, stop trying to hold it in! I swear you act like a 5 year old sometimes." she says not even holding back. I give Trinity a death glare and she bends over dying of laughter from hearing me being called a five year old. "Here give me the blankets ill throw them in the washer for you" Grandma says. "NO!" we both shout looking at each other now panicking, knowing that if we give her the sheets she will smell the alcohol and know we were drinking. "No its fine grandma, it was my accident I'm going to clean it up." I say "okay, well meet me downstairs when you're done, I wanted to talk to you girls" Grandma says before closing the door and heading back down the stairs. I bunch up the mattress protector and throw it at Trinity, hitting her in the face with it. "You're such an asshole T, that's the best you could come up with? I haven't wet the bed since I was like 6." I say. "Well grandma seemed to have no problem believing it, which makes me think you're lying!" she teases me. That's It! I try to tackle her but miss as she steps out of the way making me face plant the floor instead.
