The first werewolf

That's strange this isn't our usual professor, I try to give Trinity a questioning look, only to notice she's staring at the teacher as if she knows him. I elbow her in the side and she gives me a look that can only say "don't get me in trouble.". The new professor walks up to the board in front of the class and writes what I can assume is his name "Mr. Jones". He then walks up to his desk and looks around the room checking to make sure everyone was alert and paying attention. A strange vibe coming off of him which makes a good chunk of the students in the room stop what they are doing and sit up straight, giving him their undivided attention. After everyone settled down he opened up his laptop. Putting up a PowerPoint presentation on what appears to be something from Greek mythology. "Good morning class! I will be replacing you previous professor starting today. " he said, no one else spoke but they seemed to nod their heads in acknowledgment. "Todays lessons will be on the lupus constellation, can anyone tell me what animal the lupus constellation is?" he asked. The room became silent, Even this was a new one for me, then out of no where there was a voice I had never heard before. "that would be a wolf, sir." someone said I looked over trying to find whoever spoke and when I saw him I almost forgot how to breath. He had to be the most handsome guy I had ever seen. This dude could seriously be a model, a really really buff model. His arms were covered in tattoos some appeared to be tribal tattoos of some sort, others of wolves. His hair was almost black and he had it slicked back into a ponytail, he had to be at least six and a half feet and his eyes a fiery auburn. I look over at Trinity who seems to be pretending like she loves school more then life. "hey T, do you see that new guy?" I say. she just gives me a nod, what's up with her? "correct, Samuel!" Mr. jones said. "It is indeed a wolf." So the new professor knows the new guys name, I wonder if they are some how related. "okay so hot guy must really like wolves" I whisper, she gives me a side glance. "now today we will be taking a little from Greek mythology-" said the professor. "hey didn't the Greeks wear sheets?, I bet he would look good in just a sheet." I joke. Trinity finally giving me a smile. "the legend that goes with the lupus constellation-" he continued. "Trinity, are you o-" I start " the legend of the first were wolf." "Wait, what?" Some people around me give me a questioning look, Making it apparent that I said that louder than I meant to. Trinity sinks down in her seat beside me and tries to cover her face with her book. The teacher gives me a quizzical look before trying to continue on with his lesson. Before he can even say anything my hand shoots up, asking to be called upon. "Yes, Miss?" he asks slightly annoyed the he has now been interrupted twice. "Chloe sir, Chloe Donovan." I say "I was just wondering, why are we learning about mythical creatures, when this is an astrology class?" I question him. "ah Miss Donovan, any relations to an Alexander Donovan?" he asks. Samuel looks up from his notebook as if the name held some meaning to him. "not that I am aware of sir." I state. Instantly losing interest Samuel goes back to his doodling. "oh what a shame," Mr. Jones says a look of disappointment on his face. "but to answer your question, were you aware that a good chunk of constellations are said to be made up of god favored heroes and of beasts?" he asks me. I shake my head, I mean it makes sense thinking back on all we have previously learned about, but I never really noticed. "Uh-huh, You see miss Donovan It is said that these heroes and beasts earned their stars because of their deeds." he begins. "a sort of lesson to our future selves." "A prime example is that of King Lycaon, who the lupus constellation is said to represent." I nod my head beckoning him to continue. Which he gladly did, turning his power point to the first slide showing a king upon a throne. "There once was a king named Lycaon, who ruled over thousands of humans. He was rich. He was powerful. But there was one thing he lacked and that was Love-" -ugh- a king lacking love how cliché, I look around everyone at this point seemed to be listening deeply intrigued, as the story continued. "one day the king went on a hunting trip in a redwood forest-" Redwood? like in my dreams? "what's wrong?" Trinity whispers to me, finally breaking her silence. As she notices the puzzled look on my face. "Its just, you know those dreams I've been having?" I ask, and she nods her head in response. "I was running through redwood trees." I tell her, She looks at me like I'm crazy. "so?" she mutters. "don't you think that's weird?" I ask. She shakes her head. "not really, I'm sure there are loads of redwood forests." She says, making me feel a little better. She's right plus its one little detail, its not like it was the exact same place. "where he came across a lake surrounded by meadows-" the professor says, clicking the remote to the next slide, depicting a picture that could have came straight out of my dream. WELL s**t! .
