Lunch Date

She got into the car with ease but as I started pulling away I could feel her energy shift. She was nervous and scared. I couldn't blame her. She just got into the car with a strange man. I don't look like a murderer but I am 6'5 and she's barely 5'1. I can see how I might be a tad intimidating. f**k. Did we just intimidate our mate into going with us? Does she not actually want to do this?
I put my hand on her thigh hoping that if she can feel the bond it'll calm her down some. Immediately I can hear her heart rate slow down and her breathing goes back to normal. It was also getting quite warm in the truck from the heat that was radiating off her. The heat started to dissipate and that's when I knew for sure she could feel the bond. Even if she didn't know what she was feeling it was still helping her like it would for any wolf.
I decided to go to a café nearby so she didn't have to continue to suffer in silence. I parked and walked around to let her out. As she got out I could tell she was lost in her thoughts again. Probably thinking this was a horrible idea. When she got out she kept her eyes to the ground. I couldn't bear to see my mate make herself small. I pulled her chin up to make her look at me. Her brown eyes swirling with mixed emotions.
"Don't be nervous little one. I'd never hurt you."
I needed to make her relax a little. I couldn't risk this going bad and running her off. She nodded and I allowed that to be a good answer.
*She'll learn in time to use her words when she answers us.*
Reid said with a low chuckle. He flashed images of our little mate using her words to beg for more as we pleasure her over and over again.
That's when it hit me. Arousal. And it wasn't mine. Reid came to the surface before I could stop him. Lust rising more than just his fur. He stopped and turned around before Callie could run into us.
**"Little one, you need to keep your thoughts PG."
I saw her gulp in shock. Reid took that as a win and before I knew it we were heading into the restaurant with our mate in tow.
We ordered and I couldn't help but stare at my little mate. She was a force to be reckoned with in her own right.
Standing at about 5'1, she was small but i could tell she was fierce. She had long locs and curves that'd make a race track jealous. I let her order on her own to give her a break from the overwhelming aura I'd been giving off. Also, I could finally stand back and get a good look at her. The Moon Goddess has blessed me and I will do everything I can to show my appreciation.
After we ordered we walked to a booth. I used to always cringe at couples that sat on the same side of a booth but I'll worry about that after we've been together a year or two

I snickered. Reid is already so possessive and it makes me happy.
As she's coming behind me I can tell she was going to go for the other bench but I quickly pulled her into the booth next to me and couldn't help but to wrap myself in her. I put my face into her locs and took a deep breath. She'd probably think I was a creep but at this moment I couldn't care less. The smell of rain overtook my senses. I felt my heart rate slow down and felt Reid rubbing himself against the corners of my mind. The smell had him purring like a house cat.
The food came interrupting my bliss and Callie got up to switch sides. I immediately grabbed her thigh to tell her to stay put and then I heard the most amazing sound I've ever heard. She moaned. It was soft, almost a gasp but I smelt her arousal and knew she was feeling more than a little surprised.
I reminded her of my earlier warning and told her that I understand her feelings of confusion as this is all so sudden. I could tell she was still a little flustered so I got as close as I could to her ear and whispered
"But if you don't control those thoughts little one I'll have to control them for you."
A threat I was more than willing to make good on.
