When they finally parted ways with the two men, Yuuki abruptly embraced her. She held on for a really long time. “I’m so sorry,” she spoke into her ear.
Yuuki knew a little about Ken’s history. Most of it started at age ten or later. She knew about the rescue, about Ken becoming a killer, about New Orleans and New Somerset, and of course about the stem stones. She understood that Terrell was Kenna’s brother but that tension existed between them. She saw how much Dakota meant to her.
But she didn’t know about the abuse, and she certainly had no idea about the real killing of her biological father, as neither did Ken.
